Praise God for Leonardo and Valeria DeChirico as they pastor and lead Breccia De Roma Evangelical church in the heart of Rome. Pray for Leonardo’s new book:  Same Words, Different Worlds to bring salvation, even true revival to the hearts of the Roman Catholics of the world. Ask the Lord to put this book in the hands of many, and to multiply it. Leonardo praises God for a wonderful Reformation Sunday. Ask the Lord to bless the over 100 students participating in IFED’s Theological Training Courses in Rome. Ask God to provide the workers, and to train them up for those good works that He has prepared in advance for them.

Judy Mbugua reports that the Lord is faithful! Covid is down, and they can meet in person again. They rejoice in a wonderful celebration of 40 years of ministry to the people of Nairobi, with impact throughout Africa. Praise God for a new meeting hall for the Fadhili women, and additional classrooms for the Bethel School of Sewing. Pray that the Lord would provide all the resources they need to finish the year strong. Ask the Lord to provide much needed rain, and for peace in the neighboring countries of Ethiopia and Sudan.

Dave and Joyce Briley still labor on behalf of the Bauzi people of Papua, New Guinea remotely from the states. Pray for more workers and for Yormi, their national partner who helps with everything from translation to implementation. Ask the Lord to provide a good internet connection, which has proven to be problematic when all their meetings are done remotely. Pray for complete healing from Covid for both Dave and Joyce, as well as son Nathan. All three have been hospitalized and have had serious breathing issues. Praise God for the advance of the gospel among the Bauzi, an extremely isolated people group.

Jackie celebrates the return of live, in person services at CCC church in Jakarta! Praise God for enabling the church to persevere through Covid, and for providing a measure of relief that will allow public worship. Pray for the initiation of in person worship services in the new Bahasa speaking church plant of CCC on December 19. Ask the Lord to bring many to each of these worship services. Pray for the core teams of these church plants and ask God to provide the workers that are needed to sustain and grow the church. Praise God for his faithfulness to Jackie, and for his love for the people of Indonesia.

Dean and Kyria remain in the US as he continues PT for his Achilles’ tendon. Ask God to give Dean strength to persevere and for complete healing. They recently learned there will be a change in their leadership, and new strategy and values that come with that change. Therefore, they have made the hard decision to leave the work in Central Asia. They desire and intend to stay full-time with their agency and now look for an assignment that will be a better fit for them. This was a huge disappointment, but they know God is in it and using it for their good and his glory. Pray for patience, perseverance, encouragement, and joy in the Lord as they wait.

Brian and Terri with CO in Thailand are reminded that the great need for advancing the Kingdom of God remains the same: ask the Lord to provide the laborers, for the harvest is great but the laborers are few. Pray that God would provide the workers for their ministry among the college students of Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen, as well as throughout SE Asia. Pray for the leaders that are needed, that the Gospel would be shared, and workers would be evangelized, established, equipped, and exported to the ends of the earth. Pray for relief from Covid, and encouragement and endurance for Brian, his family, and their team.

Pray for Faith, Seme, and baby Elias as they serve in Uganda. Pray for strength and stamina for Faith as she raises their child and serves the church that Seme pastors. Praise God that Uganda seems to be emerging from Covid. Ask the Lord to direct and encourage Faith as they look to relaunch their women’s and children’s ministries. Pray for the new organization they have formed to serve special needs children and families. Pray for Faith as she teaches in home groups, for the Lord to grant her time alone with Him, and that her work permit would be processed quickly so she might retain her visa.

Pray for Steve and Margaret and their four boys, and for the nation of Ethiopia. Steve serves as senior pastor of International Evangelical Church. Pray for Margaret and the boys as they have left to stay with family while Steve remains to pastor the church. Please pray for the conflict to come to an end, for peace to prevail, and for there to be healing across the nation of Ethiopia. Pray for IEC as they have a very diverse church body, and the stresses are felt by all. Pray for the expatriate community that is in midst of rapid transitions. Pray for wisdom for Steve in leading both his family and IEC well.

Welcome to our newest World Missions partners, Scott and Ellen, who are preparing to go with their two young children to the nation of Senegal. Pray for God to provide all that they need; those who would give, those who would pray, and those who would labor with them. They are currently in France studying not only French, but also the indigenous languages spoken by their target group, the Fula Muslim people. Pray that the Lord would use Scott’s expertise and training in agriculture to provide a valuable skill for those who come to Christ. Ask the Lord to go before them, preparing the hearts of those who would believe.

Pray for Ruslan and Zhanna, our national partners in Kazakhstan, where Ruslan directs Young Life Central Asia and his wife, Zhanna, directs the Capernaum Project for children and adults with special needs throughout the former Soviet Union. Pray for them as a family, and that the Lord would bless and use their four children in service to Christ. Ask the Lord to provide the workers needed to reach the lost and underserved in Central Asia. Pray that God would continue to encourage this couple, and that he would fill them with his Spirit each day. Ask Jesus to bring many to Christ, for the sake of his Name.
