Praise that John F. was able to join his father-in-law at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Church in Indonesia that his in-laws were pivotal in founding. Dawn was able to be in the states with her mother who could not make the trip. Pray God will continue to use this family to bring His Word and work to the nations, and for continued good health for John.
Pray for Jason, Lisa and their little ones as they battle sickness in a cold, polluted environment in E Asia. Pray they will keep their eyes on Jesus during this time, and for guidance as they seek to make lifestyle changes that better reflect the Father’s heart for them and the nations.
Randy and Martha ask prayer for the spiritual battles going on in their city where non-believers have encouraged the burning of Bibles. Pray for God to give these non-believers a desire for all to have the freedom to read the bible, and for believers to have courage and boldness to believe that Jesus has set them free to worship Him and no government has the right to constrain this.
Juan Patt in Belize requests prayer for his wife Maria who is pregnant. Pray for the baby to grow healthy and strong, and for a normal delivery in Sept. Last year they lost a baby early, so they are thrilled with the prospects of another child to join daughter Stephanie.
Pray for the 2pc team in E. Asia to encourage and train a young growing church that has just begun a private Christian School. The team will be working with teacher and parent training, and biblical curriculum for school and home. Pray the Holy Spirit will guide them as they help set a foundation for the school.
Pray for the 2pc team presenting a “Christians in the Marketplace” seminar in East Asia this week. Pray for the many non-Christians who were invited to attend. Pray for the team to not only be a blessing but to also be blessed from the relationships they establish.
Praise God for the 10 year visa granted to Joe and Austia who leave today to begin ministry in SE Asia. They will join 2pc partners Jeff and Lynne who have been there for some time. Pray for Joe & Austia as they meet their neighbors and begin language/culture study.
Pray for Dan Burns who travels March 4-8 to teach Old Testament Poetry and Wisdom in Ukraine. Pray for those who come to have teachable hearts and receptive minds and for Dan as he teaches in Russian without a translator. Pray for his health, safety, logistics, and for a time of fellowship with pastors and students.
Pray for Dave and Robin as they care for his mother who has developed some life changing health issues. Pray for wisdom for the doctors as they determine how to care for her. Pray for Dave as he juggles home responsibilities with those of Servant Group as they interview and plan for the Classical Schools in Iraq.
