Joseph & Mandi

Joseph and Mandi are expecting their second child in July. They have interviewed a young man to be Director of MEDIC, and ask guidance and wisdom in deciding if he is right for this position, or better suited as a loan officer. They know of three new fellowships which have begun as a result of MEDIC and are collecting data to substantiate this. Pray for wisdom as they press forward with Gautam and the leadership group for training and mentoring men.

John Whittemore has been in Ukraine several days recruiting for the winter camp that begins tomorrow. Thirty or so teens from orphanages and kids from foster homes will board a bus for the 10 hour trip to the Carpathian Mountains. At the camp they will hear the Gospel, interact through sports, skiing, and excursions to historic sites before returning on Jan. 16. Pray for John as he shares the Gospel messages and builds friendships with these young people so eager for love, hope, and encouragement.

Thomas & Jennifer

Thomas and Jennifer had their first baptism in mid-December; pray the non-Christian family and friends who attended will put their faith in Christ. Through the Gospel Center, the Christmas outreach in the park, and caroling in local apartment complexes, Thomas & Jennifer were able to share the good news of Jesus’ birth with many people. Pray the truths of Christianity will come through to Jacky and his wife Jessica, Tina, Song-Xiang, Snow and her mom, and Mr. Luo. Thomas& Jennifer 4-14

They will be hosting the first ever New Year’s Conference January 7-10; pray for much fruit from this event. Continue to pray for 100 students to come to Christ during this school year. Pray for Blaa’s family in the recent family death and the witness of Terri and staff members at the funeral.

Dan & Stefanie

Dan and Stefanie found their first holiday away from family to be difficult, though celebrating the twins’ third birthday was a bright spot. Adjustment is challenging with family sickness. They ask prayer that the Lord will lay the foundation for their ministry this year and they would clearly sense His direction, for the registration of their new car to go smoothly, and for the Lord to open their minds to learn Hindi well and be a blessing to “G” their language helper and her daughter.
