Dave

Dave reports that he and his team served 1,000 refugees per day while in Greece, providing care packages, shoes, and necessities, In one camp they visited there were 8,500 refugees and in another 3,000. The greatest needs are hands to pass out donated supplies, voices to explain and comfort, and hearts open to bearing one another’s burdens. Pray God’s presence will be very real to these brothers and sisters in Christ, and that those who do not know Him will meet Him in their journey.

The Prices

The Prices’ are doing well after finally getting to their place of service. He is already teaching classes and loves it, and she is enrolled in language study. They are enthusiastic and positive and feel they are where they belong. Pray she will continue to experience peace and that when a colleague leaves, that his schedule will continue to be healthy.

Roger & Abi

Securing property in Tokyo is not easy if you are a religious organization as Roger and Abi found out in searching for a location for the Community Arts venue and Grace City Church. Pray for a permanent space that will accommodate 300 for Church and the arts programs. Pray for complete healing of Roger’s back injured in a fall a few months ago and for Abi’s sister, an MTW missionary in the disaster area of Japan, whom Abi accompanied back to the states for medical needs.

Brian & Cary

Praise that Cary and her Asian friend were able to be a part of the 2PC ST team to India recently. Brian F. is grateful for the good Operations directors meeting and for including wives in the event. Pray for the marriages of those on the team, that their priorities would be Jesus, husband/wife, and children. Pray for opportunities for Cary to share the gospel with people at the orphanages she visits.

Brandon

Pray for Brandon as he heads to the WO Encounter weekend where people interested in long term overseas service through WO will gather. Pray for Brandon’s leadership of new missionaries preparing for the field and for the new folks attending the Encounter weekend. Pray that God would give clear direction for both potential missionaries and the WO leadership team as they get to know one another this weekend.

Rob & Tunde

Rob and Tunde Futo rejoice on the successful launch of the new church plant in Budapest. It is a very diverse group averaging 75-80 each Sunday and meets in the coffee shop at Rob’s office building. Pray for Rob as he adjusts to weekly preaching after spending many years teaching and lecturing. Pray he can balance/unite the film club with the church, as well as unite the leadership team theologically.
