Leonardo De Chirico reports they have begun Sunday services at their newly renovated property located in Rome’s city center. The first Rome Scholars Network met recently with 23 scholars and leaders from around the world for intensive training on Roman Catholicism. Pray for Breccia Di Roma’s growth and witness to refugees with the truth of the gospel, and for those who lead it.

Greg & Sally

Greg Livingstone has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer and is undergoing hormone and radiotherapy treatments in England before returning to the States. Since most of their belongings were already enroute to California, he and Sally are living at a staff member’s home while he completes his treatment. Pray for them as they deal with this unexpected change in plans and her recurring bouts of depression. Pray God will honor Greg’s desire to recruit 22 more unstoppable team leaders for the sake of God’s kingdom in the Muslim world.

Tim

Pray for Tim B. as he returns to Kyrgystan to continue study to become more proficient in the language and better able to minister to the young men with whom he works. Pray for wisdom as he shares with Valt, Tyson, and Omar. Pray for Ali, with a strained family relationship, to have the right relationship with Christ. Pray Tim feels encouraged and equipped after his time with family and friends here.

David & Aliece

David and Aliece and their children have been in Belgium participating in cross-cultural training. David is concerned by a report from one of his pastors that the government is using them as a test case to enforce three agendas: fly the nation’s flag on top of the church instead of the cross; allow assigned governmental official to attend all leadership meetings; and have sole control over the church’s tithe. Pray this is an isolated case and that God will be honored in all relationships between churches and government.

Lizzie / Dan & Stefanie

Pray for Lizzie Liddell who was appointed at General Assembly by World Outreach to join Dan and Stefanie’s team in South/Central Asia. Pray for her preparations, training, and building a support team as she anticipates a move to the field in 2017. Dan and Stefanie are currently in the States reconnecting with family and supporters and introducing the business they began to help women become self-supporting, and provide an open door to the Gospel.

Misha & Inna (Ukraine)

Misha and Inna Dubovyk are preparing a camp for families of those who minister to people in the occupied territories of Ukraine. With two years of war and ongoing service, they are very tired and need encouragement and renewal of strength. There will be 94 participants, 42 adults and 52 children, August 7-14. Pray for a true time of refreshment of body and spirit for all attending, and for encouragement for Misha as he re-establishes his ministry.

Rob & Tunde

Rob and Tunde report their first church camp was such a blessing for their newly formed church and feel many friendships were made. The weekend brought closeness to the church body and they are on the road to becoming a “family”. Csenge and Hajni led teaching for the kids and following the camp were invited to join a concert tour in Paris. Pray for wisdom, more people to serve, the music and youth teams, and the youth camp scheduled for late August.
