Praise God for the protection and safety of Tim and Huilan’s family during their travels. Pray for more English teachers from the US at the school where Tim is an English teaching consultant. Pray for Huilan as she works with the wives of pastors and church planters in a women’s ministry designed to support and encourage spiritual growth. Tim is beginning his first PhD class in February, pray his studies will further the work of the local seminaries to better serve the church where they are.

Pray for Laura in her new role as teacher for the kids at Annoor. Pray she can quickly gain their respect and appreciation making it not only a good educational experience but fun as well. Pray her adjustment period will go well and she will begin to feel at home among the staff and community especially as she experiences the Christmas season in a different way.

Bob and Janie are grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with Amir who has found a new safe house and continues to reach out boldly with other refugees. He is starting a church with Pharsi speakers. Pray Bob’s meetings with MB believers provided some additional insight to help them grow and reach out to their own people. Pray for protection for them and for receptive hearts as others learn of the Good News.

Pray for Mitchell as he seeks to recruit people for key positions to work with students and help start churches in Indonesia. Pray that God would raise up laborers to work with him as the scope of his ministry expands to vice president of the university in addition to his other responsibilities.  Pray for a balance between home and ministry life and rest when needed.

Praise that Jeff and Katie were able to find the perfect home for their family that is close to town and their ministry.  Pray for them as they settle into life in Japan, seek to connect with their team and begin their language and culture studies. Pray that God would bless this first full month in Tokyo.

Steve Spencer asks prayer for African Bible College’s 100 new freshmen and the curriculum for a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration that he is writing. The off-campus ministries continue showing “the Jesus film”, building bread ovens, irrigating crops, feeding orphans, providing medical assistance, and distributing maize to villages. Pray for employment permits from Malawi Immigration, the ABC student body, and safety and health for his family.

Jackie asks for prayer to grow in trust for the Father and His plans for her life, for Language study, which will be much of her focus during the first year, for wisdom and faithfulness as she pursues conversational fluency that is important in her ministry, for wisdom to know how to deepen relationships with the people at Covenant City Church and for patience to wait on the Father’s timing.

Guille MacKenzie asks prayer for the team planning another conference at Mision Beta in March. Pray for the planning to give them the chance to work together with Instituto Biblico Buenos Aires theological seminary to offer courses for different academic levels. Pray for the details of this event to come together and for Guille’s continued involvement with the multi-cultural church.

The staff report at Annoor that recently there has been a steep decline in the number of inpatient cases being referred to them. Pray God will send those who need to hear the good news as well as get hope and healing. Pray for their host country and its leaders to have wisdom and to experience God’s blessing and protection.

Pray for Tim’s key guys, Oma, Vlad, and Tyson, as they reach out to youth in Bishkek through Young Life Kyrgyzstan. Pray for Tim’s recent engagement to Tanya, a Young Life leader in Kazakhstan, as they prepare for marriage next year.
