Nick & Amanda

Nick and Amanda have been in their new apartment for 3 months and finally feel settled for the first time in a long time. They have purchased a car and the girls are in school. They began attending the church service for refugees and also found a local fellowship to join. Nick is teaching middle school Math to refugees at an unofficial school started by their church and Amanda did a 5-week intensive Arabic class to kick-start the “new accent”.

Joseph & Mandi

Joseph and Mandi are grateful they were able to get some stateside medical advice as they dealt with health issues. Pray for improved health and wellbeing as they wrestle through long-term decisions with their team and the future. They are excited Jaimie is there and will begin doing school with JP and Bella.

Jeff & Lynne

God has abundantly answered Jeff and Lynne’s prayers for an outlet for their children to develop friendships and interests not available in their homeschooling environment. All five of the children are enrolled in a new international school. Pray for their adjustment to this new atmosphere and to grow individually. They have new teammates, pray Sam would be able to get a work visa with Jeff’s company and that God will bless the team’s ministry.

Kyle & Claudia

Pray the young executive Kyle recruited for the new teen sports ministry in the shanty town continues to develop this ministry while the Zimmermans are on a two month home leave. Pray for them as they travel around the U.S., and pray the stress and difficulties they have experienced this past year will all wash away as they are refreshed and renewed to return to their mission in Buenos Aires.

Ronnie & Jane

Pray for Ronnie and Jane as they begin a two month stay in Azerbaijan where Ronnie will minister as opportunities arise. Pray the location will be accessible to areas where teaching can be scheduled. Pray Ronnie and Jane will be surprised by this table the Lord has set before them and for their health as they set out on a new journey.

Tezar & Tatiana

Tezar and Tatiana share the three Community groups throughout the city are a highlight of Covenant City Church. Pray the Lord will continue to make His Word and His Gospel central to the ministry. Elius, their new pastoral intern will begin this month. Pray he will effectively minister the Gospel through his many responsibilities and for their search for a new location and office space more conducive to the vision and mission of the church.

Lizzie

Pray for Lizzie as she works to complete her support team and begin training in a six week cross cultural course with others leaving for the field. On the field she plans to work alongside a few teammates implementing much needed public health strategies and also to be involved in some way in Kahani Designs, a small business started to create employment opportunities for women.

John & Dawn

John is grateful to share oversight of the 100 teams and 500 personnel of the SEAPAC region with two capable young leaders. He and Dawn see God’s hand in this and look forward to a smaller region which will allow them to once again walk in closer community with their leaders and teams. Pray for an outpouring of His grace on the new leadership and the mighty things to come. John and Dawn ask prayer for God’s provision and timing as their two oldest children prepare for the work He has put on their heart.

David & Aliece

David and Aliece have been commissioned by their home church and are ready to leave for E Asia as soon as their support is complete. David spent a week there recently teaching an intensive course in a heavily polluted area that aggravated his existing respiratory and heart issues. Pray for protection for the family as they prepare to move to an area where the smog index is the highest in Asia.

Marcelo

Marcelo Robles asks prayer for La Mision’s 20/20 vision of five congregations in five different locations in the city, with each having 60-80 members, a pastor and at least two elders, and at least 20 small groups. Pray the Lord will call more elders, small group leaders and candidates for ministry. There is an urgent need for an assistant pastor for the Flores campus which is currently being renovated. His mother, Acuzena, has growing health issues, pray for Marcelo to have wisdom as he cares for her and his daughter Vicky.
