Daryl & Marlene

Daryl and Marlene Bussert will spend the next two months conducting aviation audits in Peru and Africa. These audits are critical to the safety and efficiency of aviation support for missionaries to remote areas. Pray for wise assessments, evaluations, and recommendations as the Busserts conduct these audits. Pray for the brave aviators that make sure missionaries can safely get to remote areas to spread the good news.

Brandon

Brandon McCord found much had changed when he returned to South Africa after a time in the U.S. He moved to a different university in Johannesburg called Witwatersrand University and is excited to have the opportunity to mentor, disciple and work with students in this high academic university. There are 500 young men in the dorm where he lives and 176 freshmen. Pray as he begins to build relationships that they will lead to spiritual discussions and Bible study.

Save

Valery & Janna

Many Christians feel pressured and threatened by the new laws and regulations in Russia. Pray the Wycliffe Bible Translators will not have to alter their plans for preparing translations and sending representatives to areas to share the gospel. Pray for Valery and Janna to be wise in planning and implementing the vision and goals, and for daughter Anna’s college acceptance and transition.

For more on Valery & Janna, see page 44 of the prayer guide.

Aileen

Give thanks for Nasri and Manahi who have faithfully served at Annoor for fifty years, him a gifted communicator and her preparing food for patients and staff. The hospital has been granted approval to use some experimental medications for one of their patients, pray this new course of treatment would be used by God to bring a complete healing. Pray for more staff, and for Aileen as she recovers from back surgery in the US.

For more on Aileen, see page 5 of the prayer guide.

Easter

As our missionary partners around the world proclaim the Good News of today- that Christ is Risen- pray they will be directed to hearts that are prepared to hear and respond to this life changing message. Pray that each of them will feel the personal love and care of Jesus. Many are serving in locations where this news is not welcome, pray for strength, sensitivity, care, and protection every day.

Scott & Tina

Scott and Tina’s mission is to demonstrate the love of God through healing the blind, caring for the poor, giving hope to the hopeless, and mentoring future leaders in eye care. They are grateful for much needed equipment for the eye clinic and surgical unit and for the partnerships with Himalayan Cataract Project and the ACT Project. They look forward to establishing an eye clinic near Koshe. Continue to pray for a director for Bingham Academy and for teachers with a heart to instruct and shape the children and the Ethiopian community.

Joseph & Mandi

The team retreat gave Joseph and Mandi time to reflect on recent achievements and issues that saw twelve men persevere through two years of life-on-life discipleship and enter into Business As Mission training and implementation, and relationships of trust with 150 women in the micro business. Pray as they navigate restarting the MEDIC program now that they have gained more wisdom as to how things really work in their area. Pray Joseph can get back to normal and off the medication dealing with the after effects of chikungunya.

Karen

Pray for Karen Taylor as she recuperates from her recent surgery and that she will sense the Lord’s leading as to where He would have her serve next. Pray for renewed strength, health, and peace of mind as she looks to the future. Pray also for the students she left behind in Cambodia to develop in leadership and grow spiritually.

Giotis & George

Pray for Giotis Kantartzis and George Tolias as they oversee the ministry and work of the church in Athens. Pray for George’s ordination and that he and Giotis can respond to the great need caused by the refugee crises and still remain focused on church planting. Pray each can balance ministry and family needs and for more volunteers to assist in the church’s ministry. They ask also for prayer for their country of Greece.
