Roger and Abi Lowther continue to use art and music to draw Japanese to the Lord. Discussion of the movie “Silence” provided opportunities to talk about the gospel and this week they will hold their second Bach concert of the season. They will also welcome five artist interns to work with them this summer. Grace City Church Tokyo has grown tenfold and now meets for worship twice a week. Pray for Roger and Abi’s ministry and Grace City Church.

Congratulations to Mike K who received his Doctor of Philosophy in May. He continues to serve in the Lebanese church where the SAT-7 satellite channel picked up one of his sermons that was seen by a lady in Syria who had recently been a guest in Mike and Stephanie’s home. Stephanie loves her ESL class and the women the Lord brings into her life. Pray as they discern the Lord’s will for their future as their six years in Lebanon ends next summer.

Jonathan and Amy Prudhomme are back in Italy, pray for their marriage and adjustment to their new marriage, city and culture. Pray the Lord will give them deep unity with their team, that they will love each other and work together well. Pray they will be led by His Spirit in making connections with those around them and begin to establish relationships with people in the community.

Brian P. reports that 170 came for the first service at Covenant Hope Church in Dubai and were encouraged at the following worship service with 130 in attendance. They had their first Easter sunrise service on the beach overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Pray for the continued growth of the church and for the leadership to be united in spirit, welcoming to newcomers, and building community among the congregation.

Brian and Terri F had a team building retreat in St. Louis and ask prayer for the Campus Outreach team they hope to launch at Mae Jo University in Thailand. Pray as they work out all the details for the team such as language learning, visas, housing and transportation, and for God to be working in the lives of Mae Jo students whom they will meet and evangelize over the next two years.

Jackie is grateful for a feeling of normalcy as she now can get around and do the normal tasks of life in her new city. She meets with 3-5 girls a week for one-on-one time and is developing history and trust with several. Pray God will provide the right opportunity to expand her network of relationships and lead her to people who are open to hear about Him. Pray the women of Covenant City Church will continue to grow in their faith and as a community.

Scott Lawrence shares that the 3 day Discovery Eye Center event had over 1,300 patients and opportunities to care for and provide surgeries for children and families who otherwise wouldn’t get care. Pray for Scott’s relationships with the residents and medical students he is mentoring, for capacity to build on the momentum at the clinic, and energy to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the patients. Pray for godly teachers for Bingham Academy where their sons attend.

Pray for Tim and Tanya Blaylock as they adjust to a new life together and she transitions from her home country to where Tim is ministering. She is learning English and also reaching out to the girls, while Tim disciples a number of youth who have come to his fitness club and works on plans for the summer camp. Pray for Vlad who has grown in the past few months and for the many youth Tim and Tanya have opportunity to witness to through their life and the love of Christ.

As Rachel finishes her time in East Asia and returns to life in the US, pray she can finish well, leaving disciples equipped to carry on in the future. Pray the Lord will raise up more spiritual leaders on campus, for growth in relationships, and connection with house church pastors. Pray for Carrie and Cinderella to grow spiritually and continue to get plugged into a local house church. Pray the Lord will provide Rachel with another job in ministry.
