Tim and Huilan ask prayer for rest while with family in Taiwan, for the senior pastor and associate in the presbytery who are in an ongoing conflict, and for reconciliation and healing between leaders and congregants. The seminary needs two staff members in the education and administration departments; pray for the right individuals. The ministry to church planters’ wives needs more local committed workers; pray these will come forth.

Paul and Violette Bridgman ask prayer for Pastor Katayama who is battling bile duct cancer and trusting the Lord for his care. Pray for Paul as he preaches often, and for inspiration as he gives comfort and encouragement from the Word of God. Violette is still receiving PT and Paul is working on getting off pain medication. Pray for encouragement and complete healing.

Juan Patt is grateful for the work done by our family mission team and reports how awesome the church fence, office and newly tiled kitchen look. He has begun to use new ideas to help him preach on living a fruitful Christian life and asks prayer that the church would continue to grow in the areas of need. Pray for effectiveness of the VBS and for the Calcutta community, that the hearts of children and their parents would be drawn to the Lord.

Roger and Abi ask prayer for their son, Eastin, who was hit by a car which broke his leg—they’re grateful it was not worse. Grace City Church celebrated its 7th anniversary performances by the gospel choirs and son Aidan’s hip-hop team. The Bach Festival concert series ended with a two-hour musical evangelistic work on Roger’s portable digital organ for which he prepared a 90-page booklet to accompany the performance. Praise God for the reactions witnessed through this program.

Steve and Marion Spencer ask prayer for son Jon Jon, who has been dealing with severe medical issues as he adjusts to a new medication for Crohn’s disease. Pray this can be stabilized as he and his wife and baby are scheduled to leave for Malawi to work as missionaries. Steve has his hands full with ABC and with development of a Christian university in South Africa. Pray for this family as they minister in many ways.

Thomas and Jennifer have big plans for ministry now that they have returned from home leave. They are hosting in their home more, Jennifer will be starting a free aerobics class at the Gospel Center and asks prayer for the right people to come. They were pleased that 13 signed up for the Adult evangelistic English class to go through the book of Jonah. Pray for many evangelistic opportunities in their community and for wisdom as they help some on the fringes of the church with marital issues.
