Steve & Marion

Steve and Marion ask prayer for the Lord’s power and favor as they submit their Volunteer Visa application to the Dept. of Higher Education and Training (DHET), that the Biblical stance and Christian convictions of GENESIS SOUTH AFRICA will be celebrated and endorsed by the government. Pray for their continued safety and provision and that they make righteous decisions and wise alignments with potential partners.

Enoch

Because of his responsibilities with China Partnership, Enoch travels much of the year and asks prayer for his wife in his absence as she handles family needs. Pray for their daughter, who is twelve, to grow in her walk with the Lord. For Enoch, pray for humility and dependence on the Lord. Pray for all the preparations for the upcoming KL Conference next month, particularly travel arrangements.

Paul & Violette

Paul and Violette give praise for response to the outreach to kids and moms, and pray the family candlelight service will bring many to Sakuragaoka Church. The pastor has joined his wife in her home country of Korea for the birth of their first child, pray for them while they are away from the church and for the ongoing ministry in their absence. Pray the church can meet its budget and have extra to give to relief for areas of Japan devastated by typhoons and floods. Pray for Paul and Violette’s health and joy as they continue to serve there.

Theo / ICP Netherlands

Theo Visser and Intercultural Church Plants continue to move from country to country. Under Hans and Carolien Euser’s leadership, ICP in the Netherlands is growing steadily. Doors seem to be open in Spain, and they seek guidance in moving forward in Italy. In January they will have the first meeting in Belgium to test if a network can be started there. Pray for these efforts to bring cultures together for Christ and the Kingdom sake.

Jackie

Jackie is thankful for the training done by Second’s team of women. Pray for Tezar and Gray as they lead training for the new officers at CCC. Jackie has found her new home is a place to bless others and provide community for people who feel lonely. Pray for her as she seeks new outreach opportunities and discerns whether the current outreach commitments are still effective. She desires to dig more deeply into the community where she has been planted, pray for guidance as she moves forward.

Heath & Angela

Heath and Angela praise God for how He is using them for His glory in Kenya and East Africa. Two OB/GYNs are applying to move to Tenwek with their families to serve as faculty with the new residency. They just welcomed an orthopedic surgeon and his family to serve for two years. Pray for wisdom and grace as they daily face challenges that come with providing medical care in a difficult setting, working cross-culturally, teaching and discipling others, and navigating team dynamics. Pray for Rees who is now attending boarding school with students of 30 nationalities.

Raju & Catherine

Raju and Catherine continue to serve KTM in South Asia, running a hospital, teaching children, and mobilizing church planters in an overwhelmingly Hindu area. Church planters have been trained in community health skills so they can serve the communities, helping people diagnose their conditions and getting them to appropriate medical professionals. Pray that many of the ten million people in their district would come to know Jesus through the witness of church planters equipped through KTM. Pray for God to give Raju and the KTM team strength each day for this task.

Rob & Tunde

Rob and Tunde were disappointed the building they planned to purchase for the coffee shop has been taken off the market. Pray the Lord has something better for them. The youth group is doing well with many young people coming and studying the Bible together. Tunde’s choir, the first since they started the church, is preparing for a big concert on the 21st, pray for the concert to bless many. Pray for wisdom for Rob as he deals with one conflict in the church that requires a lot of his time and energy.

Thomas & Jennifer

Thomas and Jennifer have appointed two new church elders for 2020 to serve with the four currently on the coworker board. Pray for Jordan, the new pastor who had major surgery, to have a steady and quick recovery, and for his family to be able to take on more responsibilities after he fully recovers. Pray the team will bounce back from the many hardships of the past few months and remain united in reaching the unreached with the Gospel.

Laura

In order to help with family issues, Laura has returned a few weeks earlier than planned from her assignment in the Middle East. She is going to spend a “gap” period in the US to re-engage with family and friends. She is praying about working with Arab speaking refugees in Africa or looking for a position in the states that works with refugees, and would welcome information on opportunities. Pray for wisdom and direction for her future.
