Scott reports that for the past several months, the eye team has been increasing their outreach efforts entering underserved communities that lack access to care. They are dedicating their Fridays to providing charity surgeries and exams for these patients and welcome partner support in this effort. Pray for their work which gives the gift of sight each week to these needy patients.

Jeff and Katie were excited to find a home within a 2-3 minute walk from a couple of college campuses and in the exact location they are planting a new church. Partnership with RUF provides a better foundation for their church planting efforts as they serve and reach university students. He is also doing an internship at a local church and leading a Bible study for an elementary karate class. Katie is forming deeper bonds with moms of Emerie’s friends from school. Pray as they settle into these new routines.

Norm and Ruth Ann report that last year 380 Muslims came to faith through the ministry of AWM which has just launched an app to help coordinate better in-person follow up from online contacts. An all Arab national team of response workers follow up with inquirers via chat or other forms of social media. Norm helps lead in areas of strategic planning and operations. Pray for this new app to reach many more for the gospel and for those responding to these online contacts.

John is thankful for progress in the mariculture project despite significant challenges. They are working in three communities and are in final negotiations for partnerships with two new communities. Pray for the young church planters to mature and become effective in sharing their faith and making disciples. Pray for potential new team members and new communities to engage with, and for hatchery production to scale up quickly.

Several of Annoor’s staff families are facing some unexpected difficulties right now. Pray that God would bring resolution, healing, and blessing and that the staff would experience an extra measure of His grace and peace. Pray for strength and patience for the nursing staff especially during the night shift as they minister to wards full of patients. Pray that the patients would be full of harmony and grace towards one another as well as to staff.

Daryl is grateful for the progress being made on IT systems changes and organizational tasks. Enterprise Resource Planning is an essential tool and means to assist and enable the task of Bible translation. Pray for accuracy as they discern and execute the best ways to integrate emails, records, manuals, archival and organizational tasks into the new IT systems. Gratefully the Lifto’s house sold and they can move to Waxhaw in June. Pray for the additional trips and interaction that need to occur for Chris’ orientation to JAARS.

In addition to serving as pastor to La Mision’s five congregations, Marcelo shared the joy of installing a well to bring water to 500 families in the impoverished Chaio region. His vision for LaMision is for 10 additional congregations by 2025. Presently there are 5 along with 100 small groups, 147 under-resourced children in day care, an after hours school of music for kids from shanty town and a vocational school. Pray they can raise up more leaders and expand the children’s ministry of the church.

Lenden and Gemma were able to purchase the folk-art property after it came back on the market and are renovating it to use for their folk-art project. Thankfully they received their visas for another year. Pray for the right person to join their work on the ThirdMill project as one of their key partners found another job. Pray for church leaders and their continued growth and development. Pray as they prepare for their new teammates D & K, to receive them well and help them get set up.

Leonardo continues to travel doing seminars and recently taught on Roman Catholicism at a World Venture conference in Malta. Through the Reformanda Initiative podcast, this evangelical analysis of Roman Catholicism serves as a much-needed instrument for the global evangelical church. Ten episodes of the Podcast have been well received. Pray for Breccia Di Roma and Leonardo’s leadership and training opportunities.

Pray for Brian and Terri as they give leadership to the CO ministries in Thailand. Pray for the fully indigenous Thai national staff, the two-year LEAD team with two Thai interns, the mostly Thai staffed Mae Jo team, and Chiang Mai two-year LEAD team with two Thai interns. Pray for each of these teams to connect with students and for the students to have hearts open to hear the Gospel.
