Jeremiah

Welcome to Jeremiah Davis one of our new first responders who will be joining DeAnna Deere’s team in Zambia. As he continues his preparations to leave, hopefully in January, pray for his intimacy with Christ during this time of waiting, boldness in completing his support team, for his final months in the states with family and friends to be intentional, and for all of his preparation to go smoothly. Pray for his upcoming deployment training (Dec. 1-8).

Leslie

Leslie is thankful that Corinna was able to attend horse camp without her parents this year but ask prayer for her and Eckehard as this is a new situation for them. They ask for wisdom as a family, at work, and for dealing with covid-19. Pray for leaders to have wisdom leading their country through this season. Pray for the new staff they have as adjusting to a new place is hard enough in normal times; but is even harder now. Pray for friends, patience with themselves and others, and keeping their hearts with God.

For more info on Leslie see page 15 of the prayer guide.

Nicole

Thankful for technology, Nicole has seen both spiritual and numerical growth in her woman’s group and Bible study with women from other countries joining the Zoom discussions. Pray they continue to grow in faith as they share vulnerably with one another. Nicole is also excited to be helping some Indonesian church planters with their FB pages. One of these pages has 44 people open to hearing the Gospel. “Roni”, who was followed-up with became a believer and was baptized! Pray the Lord will bring many more like him to faith through these Facebook pages.

Juan

Like everywhere else in the world, Belize is suffering the impact of the coronavirus. Juan reports that the airport finally opened last month, and the girls are attending school online while Maria also teaches her classes online. The church has virtual worship services via zoom and Juan records his sermons for the Calcutta Village church and members view them through messenger. Pray for Maria to remain free from migraines, for Juan to take care of his health as his prostatitis comes and goes depending on how well he takes care of himself.

For more info on Juan & Maria see page 73 of the prayer guide.

Steve & Lizzie

While in Memphis, Lizzie and Steve were relieved to learn that his digestive issues were the result of long-term unresolved stress and not something more serious. They are back in Romania and meeting with their leadership to find a healthy balance of between usefulness and healing. He is also learning to process and manage stress through breathing, exercise, and relaxation. Pray for Godly wisdom to create a healthy balance as they put these things into practice in their daily ministry and personal lives.

For more info on Steve & Lizzie see page 9 of the prayer guide.

Ruslan & Zhanna

Ruslan and Zhanna give thanks for a young man who recently gave his life to Christ in response to a dream, in which Ruslan led him to a room, where Jesus was waiting and asked the man to open his heart to Christ. They also give thanks for the delayed summer camps that occurred early fall due to COVID. Pray for clarity in direction as they navigate the protocols in place in Central Asia. Pray for his staff in Kyrgyzstan, where civil unrest has resulted in many nights of chaos and new elections. Pray for protection for their staff teams and wisdom in developing ministry plans.

For more info on Ruslan & Zhanna see page 52 of the prayer guide.

George

George and the Pangrati Project team in Athens share that despite the restrictions, God made a way for them to continue serving their neighborhood through English club, game nights and art workshops. Pray for guidance to abide by the rules given, yet still grow relationships and develop new ones. Pray for more people to come alongside them, that they would be intentional in their time with people, and that God would provide opportunities to share the gospel that many might come to Jesus.

For more info on George see page 20 of the prayer guide.

Stephen & Belinda

Stephen is thankful travel restrictions have kept him at home enabling him to care for Belinda as she has had several medical issues. Pray for healing as she recovers from a second back surgery she had last month. Pray for Stephen as he prepares a course on Strategic planning in partnership with 100 Arabic churches in Europe. He is also working on his second book, pray for time amongst all his other responsibilities to finish it.

For more info on Stephen & Belinda see page 14 of the prayer guide.

Brian & Terri

Brian is often asked what CO is and his answer is always the same…for a guy/girl to walk on campus, lead some students to Christ, raise them up to be laborers in God’s harvest and to launch them fully equipped wherever the Lord calls them to labor for a lifetime. Pray for four new believers: Gang, Noey, Aim and Makhaam, for the Lord to establish each of them with a firm foundation in the Gospel and equip them to labor for a lifetime. Pray for the Lord to supernaturally lead Earth, the only male Thai staff guy at CM, to commit to remain on staff the next three years.

For more info on Brian & Terri see page 61 of the prayer guide.

Paul & Violette

Paul and Violette are grateful that she was able to have her second cataract surgery on her right eye in October. Pray for it to heal as quickly and completely as the left one did. Pray for Paul as he adjusts his medication for IBS so it will work at optimum level. Three of their five English Bible class students are not believers, pray they will continue to come to church on Sunday and stay for worship, and ultimately give their lives to Christ.

For more info on Paul & Violette see page 24 of the prayer guide.
