Theo reports a powerful Zoom call where almost 50 African pastors in Europe and Africa joined in prayer for Europe. For 40 days they met to ask God to bless this continent and send revival. Recently, Theo met one of them who said that God called him to walk through their nation. He started in the north, walked about 373 miles in 12 days and stood in the gap for the Netherlands. Pray for a great impact for the Lord from these prayers and for great revival throughout Europe in the coming years.

Andy reports that as CO Serve continues to grow, so does their effort to reflect diverse student populations in their leadership. They are grateful that God has called four new African American staff to serve as missionaries overseas. He asks that we join them in praying that God will expand their reach and bless their efforts to build laborers on the campus for Christ.

Pray for Chinese Christians to be zealous for the gospel. Pray that, the harder it gets, the stronger believers will grow. Pray for Chinese Christian mothers to be filled with grace as they parent and to pass on a legacy of grace, not legalism, to their kids. Pray for Chinese sisters who are overwhelmed by their responsibilities as parents, employees, and spouses that God’s grace would overflow in their lives.

Pray for Faith and Seme as she travels two hours from home this week to stay with friends before and after the birth of their first child. Pray for a safe and healthy delivery for mother and child. Pray that Faith was able to apply for her long-term visa before it expired. There have been many delays because of the presidential election there and continued political uneasiness. Continue to pray for their church and family and for their adjustment to the new baby.

Transition is hard and Allison asks prayer that she would give herself grace. She met with a functional medicine doctor to heal her body in a more natural way. She is seeing improvement, pray her body continues to respond. Pray God would continue going before her team as they lay a new structure for their ministry in 2021. Pray for wisdom, discernment, dependence on Christ, and healthy communication and unity as they navigate new waters together. Pray that students would be available and eager to learn more about the Gospel.

Robby shares the story of Mikael and his mother, who is raising him on her own while working as a cleaning lady. Mikael was at GROW for about 3 and a half years. He is now in a Christian boarding school, thanks to Mireille, GROW Director, who played a vital role in getting him into that school. From all reports, by God’s grace, he is doing well. He is smart, articulate, and confident, and most importantly of all, knows that God loves him. Robby gives thanks for our support and asks prayer for the ability to expand their work to touch more children with the love of Christ.

Haley asks prayer for the trainings, drills, and education efforts that she is heading up to bind them together as a team and bless the staff and patients by streamlining communication and instilling confidence and trust between them. Pray that she will finish her first two seminary courses on time! Praise the Lord that her transcripts and Nursing license have been approved, pray as she takes the Jordanian Nursing License exam at the end of this month. Pray that Annoor staff can make it through this ‘final season’ before they are fully vaccinated. They have sacrificed much and stretched far to protect their patients from this virus.

Sometimes we take simple things for granted, like communion. Dean and Kyria give thanks that for the first time in over a year they got to participate in the Lord’s Supper! They are also thankful their weekly study group has met three times now, allowing them to meet members of the local fellowship and spend time with leaders. Participating in the discussion challenges them in terms of their language ability. Pray for continued grace when their limitations are obvious and for mutual blessing from this gathering, that local believers would grow in their love for God’s Word.

Craig and Stacy Pohl ask for the Lord to give them creativity and favor with students, and for the Lord to move powerfully in college students bringing them to salvation and making them laborers. Praise God for a sense of renewed unity among Chilean churches in church planting and establishment of a new international seminary. Pray for daughter Aimee joining her sister Karis at Covenant College and for Craig and Stacy’s upcoming home leave assignment. Pray for great refreshment in the Lord, for physical rest and healing, and for good connections with supporting churches.

Ruslan and Zhanna serve with Young Life Central Asia, along with over 400 volunteers. Pray that God would send more workers into the harvest and double their leadership team. Pray that the Lord would continue to call the youth, especially in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, that He would bring entire families to salvation, and provide His wisdom as they navigate Covid. Ask the Lord to send his Spirit to move through Central Asia, growing his church in number, faith, and unity and that God would be glorified greatly in their lives.
