John F. wants us to know that our prayers are making a real difference. He asked us for prayer in the difficult village where Luukeet, his Thai friend is living and sharing the Gospel with others. They are thankful to report that just in the last few weeks, as you have prayed, three more of those in her community have surrendered their hearts and lives to the living Christ.

Ruslan & Zhanna give praise that work is almost done on the Retreat house near Almaty, the construction team is working to build a fence and gate. Continue to pray for God’s will to use this retreat house for educational sessions, for local leadership, and other events. Also pray for God’s provision for furniture, kitchen equipment, textiles and so on.

Pray for Stephen and Marion’s new idea of a Surf and Paddle Club to grab people’s attention around Lake Malawi and hopefully provide opportunities to share the gospel. After a day of paddle boarding on the lake, they will put up a screen and show the “Jesus” film. Pray for all the logistics and for many to attend and hear the gospel message.

Jake and his teammates will be leading teams this summer for ELIC and then looking for teaching jobs for the fall. Pray their language skills improve over the summer, their job interviews go well, and for each to obtain a teaching job for the fall.

Pray for Juan Patt as he works to complete his final ordination exams before the next Belize Presbytery meeting in July. Continue to pray for good health for Maria during her pregnancy.

Praise that Michael Cassidy’s new book “The Church Jesus Prayed For” is published! The book has slowly been finding its way into Canada and the US and has been doing well in Australia. However, it has faced many glitches in South Africa only becoming available the end of April. Pray the book will find traction, visibility and breakthrough in assorted countries around the world.

Jonathan asks prayer for the MEDIC office to be licensed and documented in order to bring money into the country legally. Another MEDIC office down south has that licensing but it is quite strictly regulated. Jonathan’s team is now in negotiation with them to help bring the funds into the country. Pray they will be able to get this worked out fairly soon. The women currently in training will be expecting their loans soon.

Pray for Jason & Lisa as their family plans to move to a new East Asian city. As with any transition, there is grief over leaving their home, doubts about what lies ahead, and fatigue as they add moving plans to their already full schedules. Also pray for their upcoming time in the states to be refreshing and rejuvenating.

Pray for Rob, Tunde and their girls as they are in the US on a four month leave assignment. Pray for a time of reconnection, relaxation, refreshment and for their girls to learn to read and write in English while they are here.

Pray for Josh and Elizabeth as they settle into Trujillo and that the Lord would go before them and prepare the way. Pray they will build strong relationships with their new team members. While Josh’s role on the team is well defined, pray the Lord would give Elizabeth a sense of clarity in terms of her role on the team.
