Stephen & Marion Spencer ask prayer for their paddleboard ministry started last summer on Lake Malawi. Pray for the ministry to grow and expand into other villages. Also pray that the graduates of African Bible College would have a desire to teach in these villages after they graduate.
Scott and Tina Lawrence ask prayer for their preparations to move to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to help start an eye hospital that will treat patients and train local doctors in ophthalmology. Pray that God would bless Dr. Peter and Xavier as they train staff to work with volunteers in 5 key villages in the Guija district of the Gaza Province of Mozambique to lead Spiritual Transformation Groups. These groups work through the central issues of the Gospel and the life of a disciple in a way that can be used to teach others in the village, so that true knowledge of Jesus can spread throughout the entire community.
Pray that God would comfort, encourage, and provide for the victims affected by the severe flooding in Malawi that occurred in January, and pray that the World Relief Malawi staff and volunteers would be used to support and further mobilize churches to care for those affected.
