Jeff and Katie are grateful for their son Ezra and for God’s protection and aid in giving birth in another language. Katie completed her language studies just before the baby was due. Pray for their teammate and friend Mandy diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma, for her treatment and for her husband and three very young sons. Pray for Jeff and Katie’s team and church as they support this family through this difficult time and for Jeff and Katie as they finalize plans for their future ministry.

Stephen and Belinda report the European Training Center is doing well with training sessions in the fall and spring for believers coming out of another faith so they can be built up in the Gospel and discipled when they return to their homes. Pray for short term teams to come next year to serve the men and women who attend the training sessions. Pray for Stephen and Belinda as they split their time spending six months in the US and six months at ETC.

Thomas and Jennifer are grateful that Morrison Academy has finally opened as Ashlee and Tyler will begin there next year giving them opportunity to develop their English. Thomas is excited that 8 men have been coming to church somewhat regularly and attendance at mens tea night has picked up. Jennifer has been doing one-on-one Bible study with Winnie, and her whole family has visited church. Pray they will put their faith in Jesus. Thomas and Jennifer, both have health issues, pray lightened work load and rest will see progress in their health.

John and Dawn are enjoying having some of their grandchildren close by and being able to spend time with them. They are hopeful their travel schedule will calm down but there seems to be more and more teams needing oversight and encouragement. A Pioneer team in one country had teachers arrested and sensitive information confiscated. Pray the information taken will not have far reaching affect as many team members have already been forced to leave that country.

Greg is very involved in the annual conference in the Mediterranean as well as coaching, recruiting, and working with missionaries working to convert Libyan Muslims, a lifelong passion of Greg’s. Pray for Greg as he travels and for Sally as she supports him from home. Pray for continued improvement for Sally’s health and depression.

Jeff and Lynne are excited to have a cohesive team and would welcome a short-term prayer teams to come and work with them. The online media program has been a long, slow road but they are starting to see and sense its impact on the nationals. Pray “online” encounters will lead to “offline” follow up and discipleship. Their children seem to be doing well but continue to pray for their schooling and for learning resources to help them.

Brian asks prayer for the challenges facing Covenant Hope Church who, along with 20 other churches, are restricted to a designated building with limited time and space. There is no opportunity for Sunday School or children’s programs. Pray God will enable them to figure out ways to learn more and grow leaders. Pray for the young man facing persecution from his family upon return to his homeland to be free to attend church in that country. Pray for the Muslim family who visited the church amidst a family crisis to find hope and peace in Christ.

The Youngs’ local team is going through transition as life in their country of service is difficult and visa issues are unpredictable. Pray for business platforms which will give team members legitimate reasons for being there. As the Youngs serve as area leaders for UWM, pray for strength and wisdom in balancing travel, and local and regional support for teams.

Brian F asks prayer for CO staff at CM & KK as they follow up with new believers and continue to evangelize those who desire to know more. Pray for the CO LEAD staff as they go through cross-cultural and life experiences as well as theological training and continue to grow through it. Pray for God to give them physical strength and wisdom as they labor among so many with needs. Pray for Brian & Terri’s daughter Amy entering her senior year and son Caleb his freshman year.

Randy and Martha have been working with EPC couples in various stages of preparation for overseas ministry. Pray for them as they mentor and guide these potential missionaries and help them deal with issues they may be facing. While in the states they have been engaged with Bible training among Internationals at their church. Pray the Spirit will guide their adult children as they seek to find their place in life in the U.S.
