Jeff & Katie

Jeff and Katie are beginning their second year of language study and ask prayer for diligence and patience. So far it has been fun and extremely rewarding. They have been blessed with some great friendships but long for the salvation of their friends. Also pray for direction as they begin to think and pray toward full-time ministry opportunities.

For more info on Jeff & Katie, see page 64 of the prayer guide.

Austin

It is summer in Brazil. Pray that God used the year-end summer trip Austin Smith had with his team to unveil the eyes of the participants to the truth of the Gospel. Pray for teammates Casey and Ozi as they follow-up with the women. Pray especially for Henrique, Bernardo, and Fabricio that their lives have changed as a result. Pray for Austin as he begins a new year at Campus Outreach in Brazil.

Norm & Ruth Ann

As Norm and Ruth Ann travel and meet with workers in many locales they hear encouraging reports: one French field leader baptized four N. Africans in the Mediterranean Sea, another worker in England makes regular visits to Syrian refugees, colleagues in Albania are building relationships with Roma gypsies, in Kosovo colleagues meet regularly with Albanian youth, in Serbia there is a ministry to families of special needs children, and the team in Bosnia is recruiting new laborers. Pray for much fruit from the harvest.

WM Conference

Pray for the missionaries participating in our Conference to depart refreshed, encouraged, and basking in love received from our congregation. Pray the talks, group gatherings, and individual encounters have provided opportunities to share their stories and mission. Pray for their families and ministry as they return to further spread the Good News, and for our congregation to be more committed to support World Missions and them.

WM Conference

Pray for our congregation to fully grasp the opportunity to “Behold the Glory” during our World Missions Conference this weekend.  Pray that God will touch the hearts of our congregation to be more engaged in His mission around the world through the testimonies and updates from our visiting missionaries. Pray the cottage meetings and other opportunities to meet with missionaries will confirm the call of those who are considering short or long-term service.

Roger & Abi

Roger and Abi are on home leave until July. Pray for their boys adjustment to American school, for Roger and Abi as they arrange travel and performance schedules, and all the juggling that comes with an active family. Jonathan & Sharon

One of our newest missionaries, Jonathan, is Raju’s son and works with Development Associates International training in servant leadership with an array of organizations. Additionally, he is pastor of Fusion Church. His wife Sharon founded and oversees Khushbu Project, an outreach empowering underprivileged women, as well as homeschooling their two daughters. Pray for Jonathan balancing time and energy as he develops the leadership in the area.

Paul & Violette

Paul and Violette Bridgman ask prayer for the new pastoral candidate to be accepted by the congregation and start serving at Sakuragaoka Church in April. The pastor who has been preaching once a month is now in the hospital following a mild stroke, which means Paul and the leadership team must take over more teaching responsibilities. Pray for the church as it goes through this transition, that the word of God will continue to penetrate hearts in spite of the circumstances.

For more info on Paul & Violette’s ministry, see page 49 of the prayer guide.

Bob & Janie

How God is working was evident to Bob Till as he spent time with people from Syria, Iran, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, and Germany visiting with Amir and learning of his work among refugees. A German lawyer, who was not a believer but who helps refugees, contacted Amir for a client from Amir’s home country. Subsequent meetings led to this lawyer’s conversion. Pray for Amir who is planting churches among refugees and recently baptized 12 in one week.
