The Youngs

Pray the Young’s passport issues have been resolved and they are now able to travel as required as regional directors for their mission. The topic of their annual conference was Business as Mission, pray it will prove beneficial as that is a key element for many to be able to stay in Asia. Their agency wants to open a new region in the Middle East and Africa and until there are representatives in these areas, it will fall to the Youngs for oversight. Pray for this additional responsibility.

Paul & Violette

Paul and Violette felt a victory after years of prayer as a mother and her teenage daughter were baptized. Pray that they will see more of this as a result of the outreaches to kids and parents as well as from the English class’s friends and acquaintances. Pray for Pastor Osaka and his wife as they become first time parents and continue to lead the Sakuragaoka Church.

Steffen

Steffen has begun working as the leader for City to City D-A-C-H (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). It is a new and exciting assignment for the Potsdam church to be part of a growing network that is planting grace centered churches in major cities. Through concentrated prayer they have sought God’s leading as they reflect on His work at Potsdam this past year celebrating nine children dedicated, three weddings, six baptisms, numerical growth and overcome challenges. Pray for wisdom and guidance to clearly define His direction.

Jackie

Jackie did follow-up training on how to share the gospel for the women who attended the training conference led by the team from Second. The English Club is gaining momentum, pray she will be faithful in speaking the truth and sowing seeds in conversations with these friends. As she reaches out to these and other groups, pray her love of Christ and warmth will be evident as she shows hospitality to CCC groups and others within the community.

Greg & Sally

Greg has a team of three helpers to support and implement his plan for recruiting aspiring team leaders for young adults willing to work among Muslim people for whom there are no, or very few, believers and disciple makers. Pray for the speakers, for the vast number of people the attendees represent, and for our own members who will be attending, that God will use them to His glory.

Randy & Martha

Randy and Martha are grateful for the scheduling of field prep training for four families preparing to serve among unreached peoples, pray for this time of transition for each of them. Their own family adjustments and eating habits have suffered from erratic schedules, pray they will be more diligent in this endeavor and that daughter Rachel’s new medicine will help her to sleep.

Pray for Herb who is still awaiting his approval. A recent fire was a wakeup call to review fire safety levels. Pray as they correct deficiencies and catch up on years of neglect to ensure the safety of all their patients, staff and guests. China Partnership

The China Partnership asks prayer for: the gospel to reach every level of Asian society; the persecuted church in Asia to persevere and thrive; that the church will not succumb to worldliness; and that the church will be a light to the nations. Also continue to lift up the families that are separated from loved ones who are imprisoned.
