Ronnie & Jane

Calling a new pastor for the International Church enabled Ronnie and Jane to leave Moscow knowing the church had a leader. At the end of the year they will end their missionary call. They return to Europe next month to finish commitments in several ME and European countries before settling back in Memphis. Pray for them as they adjust to this new phase in life and determine what their next ministry opportunities will be.

David & Aliece

David and Aliece are back in E. Asia, grateful for time in the U.S. to reconnect with friends, spend time with her parents and her childhood friend Vicky who has cancer. David is busy organizing the annual Reformed Theological Conference where 400-500 leaders come to learn from the best reformed teachers. Aliece has been overseeing the Counseling Center and interviewing candidates for the two-year Bible Counseling Master’s program. Pray their marriage will stay strong despite the stresses of the field and busy schedules.

Jackie

Jackie is so grateful to have Amanda, the new women’s ministry intern, to share the workload and brainstorm ideas, especially now that the church has gone to two services each Sunday. Pray for unity in the church through these changes and for outreach opportunities. Pray God will guide Jackie to those open to hear and give her courage and persistence in going deeper in relationships He has already given her.

Leonardo

Leonardo and Valeria arrived in Rome 10 years ago to start a new phase of their life. So many great things have happened since. Recently, 30 men completed training at the IFED preachers’ workshop equipping them to become better preachers. They hosted a team from the UK that helped in various outreach initiatives, preaching at the church, and in San Paolo. Pray for Leonardo as he works to finalize a new book while overseeing the overall ministry of Breccia Di Roma.

Valery & Janna

At the end of the year Wycliffe Russia will celebrate its 20th anniversary. Recently they accepted six new members from several countries. Pray for Valery and Janna and the continued ministry of Wycliffe Russia. Valery and Janna plan to visit the US in December to see their daughter Anna who is studying in Texas. Son Kirill continues to work for Gideons International as well as translating materials into Russian. Pray for their family as they are spread across the globe.

Greg & Elizabeth

The big news from Greg and Elizabeth is that they are expecting a baby in January and ask prayer as they prepare for delivery in a foreign country. They have moved to phase 3 of their language learning, are getting more invitations into homes, and have joined a church. They are hopeful relationships in the church will enable them to meet extended families and others seeking the Lord. Pray for their language tutor who has experienced many trials recently with the health of her sons.

Leslie

In her coaching role, Leslie often travels from Berlin to Frankfurt. Next weekend she will be training the first cohort and beginning a new one. Pray for travel mercies on these journeys and for her family while she is away. Leslie asks prayer for Micah and Andrea’s older son to fit in at German school and for Brie’s father to get treatment for a very aggressive and potentially fatal illness. Pray for Leslie as she helps each of these families showing them God’s love.

Lenden & Gemma

Lenden and Gemma have become associate members of their local church giving them more stability, credibility and oneness with the church. He is building relationships with the growing number of university students at the church. Pray for Neil, the team leader they replaced, who was diagnosed with cancer, to have a full recovery. While they are growing more comfortable with understanding and speaking the language, pray language learning will become less challenging.

Laura

Following a brief visit home with family and friends, Laura has been able to change to a language program she feels better suits her. She is still looking to volunteer with a program that works with refugees, pray she will find a good fit soon. Pray for continued ease in receiving her visa, and wisdom and direction for the future. Earlier this year her stay in Turkey helped her discern the importance of finding a place that provides community, utilizes her gifts and skills, and serves Arab speaking refugees.

Chris & Debbie

Chris and Debbie are finalizing travel plans for 2020 and ask for wisdom on when and where to travel to see workers, and when their needs warrant bringing them into the care center. Pray for wisdom and time management to get administrative tasks done while still giving much of their attention to counseling and people needs. Pray for Debbie’s laptop that was lost or stolen on a recent flight to the U.S. to be returned.
