Judy Mbugua

Continue to lift up Judy Mbugua in Kenya as her ministry, Homecare, seeks to help transform one life at a time in the Kibera slums. Many are women with HIV or TB. Pray for Nehemiah, their first sponsored student to university, to excel and bring glory to God through his life and work.

Jeff K.

Pray for Jeff K and his team mates as they develop communication pieces for use in training Asian leaders. They have trained pastors from 21 very large cities with pastors who want to have gospel-centered churches that seek the welfare of the city. Pray their efforts are effective in reaching the masses in these cities.

Larry Brown

Pray for Larry Brown as he resumes his teaching role at African Bible College in Malawi following a year of home leave. Pray also for son Carey to readjust to his native culture and to develop a godly character and attitude in school and in the athletic areas in which he has excelled.

Michael Cassidy

As Michael Cassidy visited the Barnabas Groups in different cities, he was impressed to see a new group of 22 leaders in Bloemfontein, and excited by what he sees happening among younger leaders all over Africa. Pray for more Barnabas groups to start up and for the Lord to continue to grow these leaders spiritually.

Craig & Stacy

Craig Pohl has been serving for the last six months as interim pastor of the Grace and Peace church in Vina del Mar, Chile. This church was born out of CEMIPRE, a Christian center designed to minister holistically to those with special needs. The Pohl girls have begun to learn Braille as the Sunday bulletins are in Braille and giant print versions. Pray the spirit of love and acceptance will be manifest throughout this body of believers.

Paul & Violette

Paul and Violette Bridgman ask prayer for Andrew, a young man they mentored who worked as a summer missionary and helped them start a young adult ministry. Pray for God to give Andrew a vision for his vocation as he returns to the US to attend college. Pray for Paul and pastor Katayama as they cooperate as ministry leaders, and for unity as they talk about issues and work out good solutions for the church.

Bill & Bobbie

Bill and Bobbie Boggess are grateful that workers from their church in France are going out as missionaries as they commissioned their first couple to India. Continue to pray for a permanent home for the church; the hotel is becoming less and less satisfactory. Pray for several men in the church to grow spiritually, to shoulder responsibility in the assembly, and for conversions and spiritual maturity in the church.

Davy & Pey

Davy and Pey had a brief visit with family in the US and are now back in E Asia. Pray for the expository preaching workshop the team is planning in the fall, and that God will build His church as pastors faithfully proclaim the Word and His rich grace for sinners.

Joe & Austia

The openness and warmth of Joe and Austia toward their neighbors has opened doors of opportunity. Their language helper invited them to family camp with her 14 siblings and extended family. Their landlord shared his struggling family issues, while another neighbor’s family loss provided a chance to show love through a listening ear and heart. Pray for Joe & Austia as they weave their love of the Lord into the lives of their SE Asia neighbors.

Patience

Patience Whitten is settling into life in Bulgaria and has joined in the Sunday night “ring road” trip to minister to prostitutes, praying for and with, the women. She asks we pray for boldness, patience and continued opportunities to share the Gospel with Bulgarians.
