George & Anne

Much has happened in the lives of George and Anne Harper these past few weeks. Anne is recovering from surgery on her left hand to correct osteoarthritis, and George is having surgery on his eyelids. Their daughter Ruth passed her bar Exam, and daughter Meg is planning her wedding on April 9th. All this while George and Anne are overseeing graduate students in Manila. Pray for all of these events and for George and Anne to find rest amongst the busyness.

Greg & Sally

When introduced recently to 2,000 university students in Germany, Greg was called a missionary to Muslims for 50 years. He continues to have a heart and role in church planting among Muslims in several countries where he has established relationships over the years. He is grateful that Pastor Amjad has ten workers to help with the church planting among Pakistani Muslims in Western Europe. Greg and Sally will relocate their headquarters to California later this year.

John & Dawn

John and Dawn are grateful for time to see family, friends, and supporters, and for the opportunity to participate in Explore, joining with 45 candidates considering missions with Pioneers. Their daughter Marie and husband Chris took a longer than anticipated vision trip to Thailand due to trouble with Marie’s pregnancy. Time, love, prayer, and treatment enabled them to return home safely. Continue to pray for Marie’s pregnancy and the safe arrival of John & Dawn’s first grandchild.

Daryl & Marlene

Praise for the successful Supervisor Pilot Course held at JAARS with personnel coming from various countries. The goal was to better implement aviation safety. Pray for Daryl and Marlene Bussert as they participate in promotional as well as safety checks regarding aviation activities for Wycliffe, and pray for more helicopter pilots to be trained for future ministry.

Jackie

Jackie B, a newly appointed WO missionary, will join Tezar’s church planting team in Indonesia this fall. Pray for her to finish the school year well and raise her support team. Pray she will easily learn the language so she can begin to build relationships upon her arrival. Pray God will prepare her heart and life for this next phase in His work for her.

Dave & Joyce

Dave and Joyce continue their efforts to get the Bible and health information into the hands of the Bauzi people. Dave is training Yomi, a young Bauzi man, in translation principles, plus doing consultant work for the Auyu language. Joyce is involved in developing curriculum for a primary education pilot program using the mother tongue language of a large tribal group in the highlands. Pray for Dave and Joyce’s work and for many to come to saving faith in Jesus.

Indonesia

Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world and we are partnering with other U.S. churches to work alongside national partners to engage the nation with the gospel. Pray for the students at UPH to learn to follow Christ, engage in His mission, and serve their country. Pray for Tezar’s core church plant team to have unity and a clear focus.

WR Cambodia

Pray for Samedy in his first year as director of World Relief Cambodia and for his long-time staff as they train volunteers and church leaders to create sustainable and reproducing churches. Pray for godly leaders in each village to establish holistic ministries inclusive of health, nutrition, anti-trafficking, and HIV/Aids relief.

The Youngs

The Youngs are excited to see the Lord working in growing the faith of Munna, their driver, and his brothers and Mom. Pray these encouragements add momentum to the work among the English club and other outreaches in the area. Pray for MEDIC in the Sultanganj area, pray for the right steps to optimize opportunities in that needy community.

Ruslan & Zhanna

Ruslan and Zhanna returned to Kazakhstan after a two month sabbatical in the U.S. Pray they were refreshed, renewed, and filled with exciting ideas to implement in Young Life Central Asia and the special needs kids programs. Pray for their four children and for a larger apartment for the family. Pray for Young Life leaders to grow in their faith, walk with the Lord, and share Christ with the youth with whom they work.
