Jason and Lisa ask prayer for home leave starting this summer. They hope to rest and listen closely to how the Lord would have them continue building His kingdom and take care of their immediate and extended family. Pray for all the logistics of packing up their home in E. Asia and moving their family of five back to the U.S. for the next year. Pray for clear direction from God and for mental and physical rest while on home leave.
Please pray for Bob Till whose mother died at the age of 93. She had said recently that she was going to see Ray, Bob’s dad who died several years ago. Please pray for Bob and his brothers and sister as they mourn the loss of their mother but also remember a life well lived to the glory of God.
Pray for Liz and Brandon and their kids as they learn to adjust to a new baby in the house. Also pray for Liz as she is the primary caregiver when Brandon has to travel for his EPC World Outreach position.
Herb asks prayer for several of their patients who are suffering with multiple drug resistant TB and encountering major health issues. He also asks prayer for on-going issues with residence permits, vehicle registration and other administrative items because of delays in various government offices.
Jim and Sally give praise that the pastor candidate they interviewed and called for Holy Trinity Church has accepted the position. Pray for Ernst, Betsie and Nadia as they finish their current ministry well and prepare for work in Tyumen. Pray for all the details as to salary, housing and when Ernst will begin at Holy Trinity Church.
Please pray for the Campus Outreach leaders and U of M college students currently ministering in Johannesburg, South Africa. The team is serving alongside the local church supporting their efforts and building relationships with students at Kingsway University. For many of the U of M students this is their first time outside of the U.S. Pray for team unity, for open and receptive hearts for the Gospel and for the team to come home with a renewed passion for world missions.
Jason and Emily are leaving Tanzania this summer in order for Jason to take a position in August as Director of Advanced Urban Ministerial Studies at Gordon Conwell in Boston. This will in some ways be a return to the work Jason did in Memphis. They will leave in time to get settled and get the kids enrolled in school. Please pray for them to finish well in Tanzania, and for all the logistics of moving back to the U.S.
Chris and Kirsten had felt God leading them to move to Budapest, but through recent events and much prayer, they feel they are meant to stay in France for the time being. Chris will continue as regional leader of UWM Europe and will lead the team virtually. They ask that we join them in prayer for God’s continued direction for His next step in their ministry and for them to remain open to whatever opportunities He presents.
Bill and Lauren Finnell along with their two children and their dog, moved to Spain last month to begin their mission assignment. Praise the family quickly found a home to rent. Pray for a smooth transition, a quick adjustment and acclimation to their new city and culture, and for the family to quickly make new friends.
Bill and Bobbie Boggess are still searching for a long term location for Guyancourt Church. Another recent request to use a municipal hall was denied. Currently they often have to move or cancel their worship service because the hotel needs the conference rooms for other events. Please pray for a more suitable meeting place with additional rooms for Sunday school and possibly to have meals.
