Following their two month furlough in the US, pray for a smooth transition for Tim, Huilan and their kids back in E Asia. Praise that one of the local partner churches successfully avoided getting kicked out of office space they were renting, and pray for the ability for them to keep the location.
Pray for Daryl Bussert as he participates in the aviation audit in Brazil this month. Maintaining aviation equipment and personnel is important to access some of the most remote areas of the globe. Pray for Daryl’s skills and evaluation in each case. He and Marlene are so grateful their son Merrel was able to secure a job teaching special education, and appreciate all who prayed for this. 
Praise that John F. got another good medical report. He then connected with teams who are pressing forward with great vision and faith in one of the most unreached provinces of the country. Pray for John as he encourages, equips and supports Pioneer reps in this part of the world.
Pray for Herb’s installation service at Annoor this weekend as he takes over leadership of the hospital for TEAM. Dan B and Larry J from Second will be at this historic event. Pray for Aileen’s new role as she turns things over to Herb and that she will rejoice that the ministry she began over 50 years ago will continue to flourish for years to come.
Praise Brian and Carey received their visas just in time for their return to E Asia. Pray for peace and comfort as they leave Ben and Lillian at college in the US, and for Mary Ragan as she becomes the lone child at home. Pray for Christian friends and a good church home for Ben & Lillian, for Brian and Carey to develop relationships with their team and in the community, and for Carey as she begins language study again.
Pray Joseph, Mandi and little J.D’s short vacation provided relaxation and refueling as they head into serious ministry. Pray for the national staff and women involved in MEDIC, and for Joseph & Mandi’s neighbors. Pray for Mandi who misses family, and for them to remember God’s promises as they continue to adjust to life and work far away.
It has been a crazy summer for Jason, Lisa and their 4 small children; short trip to US, and immediate move to a new city upon returning to Asia. The family’s presence is definitely known on campus; pray the locals will not only notice their different appearance, but also something very special and want to know them. Jason was encouraged with the teaching at the government sponsored fellowship; pray he can get to know some of the local leaders soon.
Pray for Karen as she settles into her work in Cambodia, for a compatible roommate, adequate apartment, cultural adjustment, and for her teaching position to provide opportunities for interaction and meaningful conversations with students and faculty.
Pray the containers of books reached the Classical Schools of the Medes in N Iraq in time for the start of the school year; for the school directors operating with a smaller number of teachers this year; for new believers to stand strong amongst pressures from family, and for Dave & Robin to have wisdom and discernment as they support the teams there and recruit others.
Praise Jake was able to handle the logistics for the Vision Tour for 18 teachers in his city, following teaching English camps in Hong Kong. He is also grateful the Cultural Exchange Project went well and that his teammates all have jobs teaching English. Pray there will be more participants for the Intl. Leadership Project scheduled for January, and for Jake and his teammates to rest in the Lord as they begin their jobs.
