Praise for the safe arrival of Juan and Maria Patt’s second daughter, Joanna Adriannie. Mother and baby are doing fine. Pray for the family’s adjustment to another member, for Juan’s ordination at Prince of Peace Church on Oct. 13, and for their new home in Corozal.

Ron and Sarah Sadlow, Beth Fischer, Betty Eubanks and Rachel Gasser leave for India today to assist Raju and Catherine Abraham with a Wms Conference. Sarah will train the women to teach the Bible through pictures, called “storying”. She will also equip them to carry the message and graphics back to their villages. Ron will be teaching a book of the Bible to pastors and church planters. Pray for safety, clarity, health, and Christ’s love to be visible through each one. They return Oct. 20.
Karen Taylor is adjusting well to teaching ESL in Cambodia, and to new roommates Michelle and Iris. She has also found a good friend in Jennifer, one of the returning teachers. Pray Karen will continue to adjust and flourish as she gets to know the students and culture better. 
Praise for connections made during the Soccer Tournament Brian recently hosted. Pray for Beer, Top and James who are doing an evangelistic Bible study with Brian, and for new relationships with freshmen this term. Brian’s mom has a cyst on her pancreas; pray the treatment will be effective, and for Brian and Terri’s sons who are in college.
Pray for Ronnie Stevens as he begins a week of teaching in Serbia, for the evangelism training at the Danube Intl. Church in Hungary, and for the conversations Ronnie will have with a pastor later this month. These conversations are very important to Ronnie’s ministry. 
Praise that Daryl Bussert and his colleagues completed their Aviation Safety Audit in Brazil and were able to get reports and analysis in before the annual Aviation Technical Conference. Pray for clarity of mind and discernment with upcoming travel and conferences. 
Pray for Munna, the Youngs’ driver for the last two years, who accidently swallowed diluted acid and scarred his esophagus. Pray for him, and his family to follow Jesus. The Youngs also ask prayer for wisdom for Pramila who is taking leadership of a project to provide safe haven and aftercare for trafficking victims.
Leslie Kuhn asks prayer as she protects and trains her young daughter who seems to be prone to accidents. Also pray for a GEM family from TN that Leslie coaches, who were randomly checked by the govt. and found to be under-supported. Pray the family will be able to stay and continue their work.
Kyle & Claudia ask prayer for fellow church member Dora, who is experiencing great pain from pressure in her brain. Also pray for her family as they walk with her through this issue. Continue to pray for Kyle’s woodworking trade school for the people in the shanty town. 
Mike K has presented his doctoral research on Christian-M*slim Relations at a symposium in Oxford. Pray for effectiveness as he mentors students and conducts online courses. He and Stephanie are back in the Middle East after a time in the US. Pray for Stephanie to gain approval to start a prison ministry for domestic immigrant workers.
