The Persecuted Church

Today we pray for the persecuted church. Pray especially for persecuted Christians in the Middle East and N. Africa. Not only are individuals persecuted, but schools and churches have been destroyed by those who claim to be of another faith. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ to turn their eyes on Jesus and to stand strong whenever and wherever the enemy attacks.

Greg & Sally

Greg L is excited about the time spent with other visionaries focused on planting the first churches in a country in N. Africa. Pray for the opportunity to establish a peace and faith house in Europe for Muslim seekers. Also pray for Sally, whose long term disease has reared its ugly head once again.

Karen

Karen Taylor has begun one-on-one language tutoring and asks prayer for her hearing and speaking skills of the Khmer language. She says that to be able to sing the Doxology in Khmer would feel like a victory for her.

Bob & Janie

Bob and Janie Till ask prayer for the 38 GEM applicants to have clear direction from the Lord as they consider short and long term assignments in Europe. The Till’s are grateful GEM’s headquarters and staff were not affected by the recent floods in Colorado, and ask prayer for those who were, as the clean up and rebuilding will be a long process.

Aileen

Pray Aileen’s surgery is successful in easing her pain and enabling her to continue her outreach to the Bedouins following a time of recuperation in the US. Pray her time here will be encouraging and refreshing.

Brandon & Liz

Pray for the personal interaction that Brandon and Liz have with the EPC W/O workers they shepherd and for potential new workers considering W/O. This face to face time is valuable in preparing these workers for their countries of service. Pray for Brandon & Liz to have a good balance between work and family time with their four young children.

Tim

As Tim is meeting with 350 E. Asian church leaders, pray the Holy Spirit will use this event to strengthen the churches they represent. For over 3 years Tim has been cooperating with a coalition of churches representing over 600 church members. Pray the pastors, elders, and deacons of these churches will be unified as they face the challenges of ministry. Pray for Tim’s family: the boys in the Intl. school, and his daughter in primary school.

Judy Mbugua

Judy Mbugua expresses thanks that by God’s grace the Homecare Spiritual Fellowship family as well as her own personal family are safe, following the recent violence in Nairobi. She asks prayer for Kenya to be part of the prophetic destiny of being a springboard for evangelism.

John F.

John F. is participating in Intl Leadership Team meetings in Atlanta. Pray for special wisdom as they prayerfully and carefully address issues of importance to their global movement. After the meetings in Atlanta, John will be off to India to work with leaders and teams there before he, Dawn, and Kristi return to the US for Thanksgiving with family. Give thanks for how God has used John this year, and that he has been pain free.

Ronnie

Pray for the college students, that Ronnie recently taught in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, to take the gospel message to heart and change their lives. Pray for the person Ronnie is recruiting for ministry work in Budapest, and for Ronnie’s peace regarding the ongoing care of his mother back in the US.
