Pray for the avoidance of another fuel crisis in Malawi, for a healthy election this year, and for stability and growth in the World Relief training programs throughout the country.

Dan and Stefanie are among our new partners. Pray as they raise support to join an existing team in S. Central Asia where they will work in one of the poorest, most densely populated regions to offer material hope through micro loans to impoverished women. Pray for healing and strength for Stefanie as she battles health issues while home schooling their four daughters under the age of 6.

Praise that Jake has signed a contract to teach English at a University. Pray for opportunities to meet writers, artists, and musicians whom he can reach with the gospel. His time in E Asia has been fruitful and encouraging to long term coworkers, Andy and Brooke, who serve there.

Nick and Amanda U. are preparing to move to the Middle East this fall, with their two young daughters, to be part of the EPC 2025 initiative. After spending a couple years learning the language and culture, they will work with their team teaching and leading professional development for teachers. Pray for their preparations, prayer and financial support, and special times with family.

Ronnie Stevens has been to Slovakia and the Czech Republic on a regular basis. He indicates the Czech Republic has been hard ground for a long time, but now there may be stirring, and asks that we pray for softening of hearts and open doors to the Gospel. Pray for Ronnie & Jane to have a special time with his mother while they are on home leave.

Pray for John Whittemore and the winter camp beginning today through the 13th, in Ukraine. The camp will present the Gospel and teach about relationships, dating, and marriage. The country is in turmoil, so pray for wisdom for the leaders and peaceful resolution to the unrest, as well as safe travel for John who returns on the 30th.

Brian P is thankful that John Piper spoke to over 200 college students on his campus. Several students have become Christians as a result of his message. Pray for a young Afghani woman threatened by her father for reading the Bible, and for a girl from a Hindu background whose father is hostile to her faith. Pray Brian will find favor with administrators and students as he shares Christ’s love and message.

John and Dawn enjoyed spending Christmas with family and seeing God’s work in each of their children’s lives. Pray for John as he will be traveling around SE Asia to minister and encourage the workers serving there. He senses the challenges themselves have become fertile ground for growth and inner transformation. Pray that Christ will be glorified through these challenges.

Josh and Elizabeth Johnson were thrilled to have her family visit them over the holidays. Josh’s mentor and friend, Dennys, has moved leaving Josh to pick up the reins helping the 270 women clients of Sinergia. Pray the Lord will guide Singergia in finding a strong, godly candidate to replace Dennys. Pray for the Yo Aprendo “I learn” Sunday school that grew from 12 kids to more than 50.

Pray for encouragement for Jake and his team in E. Asia. Recurring electrical fires in the stairwell of their apartment building takes its toll on sleep and safety. Jake’s bike was stolen and another teammate’s electric bike was stolen four days after she got it. The team has seen some momentum in their evangelistic outreach, but need prayer to overcome obstacles.
