Pray for Davy and Pey to trust God as their anchor as they transition from their E. Asia ministry. Pray for patience as they deal with stressful circumstances, that they will finish strong in their work, that the church network they have been involved will grow and flourish, and for the Lord to bless and sustain the new church plant and make it effective in nurturing God’s people and the surrounding community.

Brian and Terri ask prayer for the staff as they begin a new ministry year on KKU campus, for God to move in the hearts of at least a hundred KKU students to turn to Jesus, and for new teachers Ashley and Jazma. Almost all of Terri’s disciples from last year have returned, pray for Terri as she helps these women develop to be involved in evangelizing KKU freshmen along with the new Thai staff women.

Jason, Lisa, and the kids have returned to E. Asia following time in the US. They are excited and hopeful as they start a new semester at school. Pray for their teaching schedules: Jason will be teaching pronunciation to three classes of freshmen, and British and American Culture to two classes of Juniors. Pray for Lisa’s dad as he recovers from back surgery, and Jason’s dad from shoulder surgery.

Pray for Daniel and Stefanie’s visas to be granted so they can move to South Asia later this month. Praise the Lord for completion of their language and cultural preparation program. Pray the memories of the trauma which began their mission will fade with the excitement of their new ministry. Moving a family with four small children under six is a daunting task, pray for their strength, health, patience, wisdom, and joy.

Pray for Mike Cross, Michael Cook, Joel Kaye, and Dan Burns as they travel to Mozambique, Sept 7-14 to support our partners in Gaza, and lead a retreat for the national staff. Pray for the trip to go smoothly and that they will bring encouragement to the national staff and reflect the Lord’s ways in all they do and say. Pray for a safe return and a true love for our brothers and sisters in Mozambique.

Pray for Kyle and Claudia Zimmerman as they grieve the loss of their friend and co-worker, Gladys Aquino.  The Aquinos had been sent from La Mision in Buenos Aires to plant La Mision Paraguay. The Zimmermans were able to visit her before she went to be with the Lord. Pray for comfort for her husband, two adopted daughters, and a mentally disabled daughter.

Praise for the safe arrival of Greg and Ginger’s baby girl Audrey Nelle, following a difficult pregnancy. Their time in the US awaiting Nelle’s arrival has been filled with lots of travel and instability for the boys. Change is really hard for Jude. Pray for the family’s adjustment to the new baby, and for time in one place to bring normalcy and refreshment.

Pray for encouragement for Mitchell, Lisa, and the kids as they struggle to learn the complicated Indonesian language. Pray they will begin to feel confident in basic language skills and be able to communicate. Pray they will enjoy the learning and growing process, for setting professional and personal priorities, and for new friendships for the family.

Heath, Angela and their girls have moved to Kenya. Pray for them as they adjust to a new country and culture, set up a home, get the girls into school, and begin Heath’s surgical practice at Tenwek Hospital. Pray for the girls to make friends and adjust quickly, and for Heath & Angela to have wisdom and discernment in all the decisions, choices, and obstacles they may encounter.

Dave & Robin ask prayer for the situation in N. Iraq to settle down, so the three CSM schools can begin on schedule. Pray for protection for the teams, 3,000 students, national staff, and families of the students, and for Dave & Robin as they continue to offer assistance from the US; including raising humanitarian support.
