Herb & Heather

Herb and Heather attended a conference in another country where they were surprised to find a couple they had not seen in years, and heard their amazing story of evacuation from a war zone and ministering to former Annoor patients. Herb says that due to Ramadan, the patient load at Annoor is low, and asks we pray God would bring patients from all over Jordan and around the region that they might treat the body and make it new in every way.

Giottis

The political situation in Greece offers an opportunity and challenge for Giottis and the Polis team. The situation has adversely affected the church and there is much fear, anxiety and self–interest. Giottis asks we pray that church leaders will face their own sinfulness, come together as a body and confess their sin and lack of dependence on God, and live in such a way to testify to the security and confidence they have in Christ.

John M.

John Mc. gives praise that the mariculture project is on to the next stage and they have an official agreement to lease hatchery space. They will spend the next six to twelve months scaling up production to commercial levels. They have also connected with a group of national believers focused on church planting among the unengaged people of the region. Pray for John’s family while he is away, amd for more church planters to join the team long term.

Brian & Terri

Brian and Terri rejoice that 40+ non-believers are very close to coming to Christ as a result of their CO summer project in Thailand, and praise Him for the ones who have come to faith. Pray the Lord will draw more Thais to Himself and bring growth in the Thai believers.  Brian will visit Second on the 23rd – pray for new friendships and his time of teaching in a CC.

Leslie

Leslie is grateful her daughter has a spot in the bilingual school they wanted her to attend and asks prayer that her husband will be able to continue the work he has been doing under contract. Pray for Leslie coaching GEM teams and sometimes facing heart wrenching situations. Pray these will be times of trust and growth. Pray for wisdom for Leslie and the doctors as she deals with back issues and leg pain.

Dave & Joyce

Dave has been training consultants to work with teams and check scripture translations. Pray he can quickly transition back to Bauzi OT translation work, and for his efforts to bring the Bauzi people into fellowship with God through transformed lives. Pray for Joyce and her colleagues who are developing preschool and kindergarten curriculum for schools in remote/isolated areas of Papua, and teaching government level educators how to develop curriculum as well.

Leonardo

Breccia di Roma seeks to be a catalyst for gospel renewal throughout Rome through preaching of the Word, emphasis on church life and multiplication, evangelism, theological training, gospel centered cultural events, and mercy ministries to refugees and the poor. Now they need a larger space. Pray they will be able to purchase a property they have located which is centrally and strategically located in the city and pray for Leonardo De Chirico as he gives leadership to this great work in Rome.

Jeff

Jeff J asks prayer for his team to put into practice what they learned through a Disciple Making Movement (DMM) training program, for God to raise up local believers to reach others for His harvest, and for Hyekyung who returned home to became a family caregiver. Pray for the healing of her sister so she can return to their team.

Mitchell & Lisa

Pray for Mitchell and Lisa, as they start a new school year with students on the campus of UPH in Indonesia. Pray that Mitchell can mobilize student leaders to share the Gospel with the students on campus, and envision them to serve the population in their country. Pray Lisa will find her place in the nursing arena and for the children to reconnect with friends they made earlier.

Bob & Janie

Bob and Janie report an amazing time in Germany sharing with refugees. They saw several men from the M.E. make a commitment to follow Jesus. They shared with people from so many different countries, some who had literally walked across Europe. Pray for those working in Germany and following up on these contacts and for the effective outreach of the second GEM ministry team arriving there.
