Pray for Brian and Joanne as they give leadership to the teams working on college campuses in the Arabian Peninsula and for access to campuses which have been closed to them. Praise that “D”, a Hindu convert has been released by his Hindu parents to return to school.  He is still under their watchful eye, but his mother asked to read the bible with him after being impressed by his faith.

Norm and Ruth Ann ask for grace to serve Pioneers out of the overflow of their dependence on the Lord, and for wisdom and sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading. Pray that the new missionaries recruited, trained, and sent out are blessed as they walk in obedience where the Lord has called them. Pray the Fletcher Center in Orlando will be completed on schedule and on budget, and for Norm’s varied responsibilities relating to the Center.

Pray for Mike as he teaches, preaches, mentors, and disciples students preparing for ministry throughout the Middle East. Being fluent in the language and culture of the area makes his work at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary even more valuable in equipping students. Pray for completion of his ongoing Ph.D. work and for Stephanie as she supports him.

In recent months Herb and Heather have lost people who have been significant in their lives and ministry at Annoor. Pastor Norm, Ed, and Um, a spunky Bedouin widow, all enriched their lives and the lives of their children over the last thirty years. Pray for Herb as he continues to give oversight to the ministry and for the Lord’s intervention in choosing the workers instead of the government making the selection.

Pray for Stephen and Belinda as she grieves the death of her mother. Pray for the new board of the European Training Center and its ministry to believers from other faiths. Praise that they now have multiple training opportunities for BMBs in Europe and several of the countries new believers come from. Stephen is grateful for the impact of ETC on the students and their ministries where churches have decided to support the work financially and logistically.

Pray for Robby and Joyce as they hope to replicate the Philemon Preschool Project throughout Lebanon and possibly Syria. The project provides very poor Lebanese, migrant, and refugee children care and a ground for the Gospel. They also work with parents in a mentoring program and have added a nurse and social worker to their very diverse staff. Pray for all their planning and the logistics of attempting to replicate this very successful project.

Servant Group is expanding its efforts in the Middle East under the leadership of Dave and Robin. Not only are the three classical schools in North Iraq flourishing, but as people return to Sinjar, a new school is being built.  Pray for safety of all involved with the schools. Pray for additional teachers for these schools and for short term teams to go to Greece to help with humanitarian relief among refugees of the area.

Pray for Aileen’s health and stamina as she continues the work she began fifty years ago, which has grown to be recognized throughout the region for its successful treatment of tuberculosis. Pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send workers, especially in the remote clinic locations where there’s significant need. Pray for delivery of more medicine to treat patients, especially those with disease resistant TB.

Praise for Ryan and Glenda’s ministry as he provides dental care to people in the area and she reaches out to comfort and befriend female patients at the hospital. Pray for their three children to connect with children their own age, and for God to provide them with a school teacher. Pray for the visiting dental teams and new dental hygienist to enable Ryan to reach out to more people in need, especially Bedouins, and take the mobile dental unit to more villages.

Pray for the church that Atheer is establishing among Iraqi refugees in Beirut to grow as more refugees from Middle Eastern countries come to know and receive the love and grace of Jesus. Pray for more small groups to be started and multiply the ministry. Pray for Atheer and his wife, Aseel, as they live out Christ’s love before those seeking to escape the terror of conflict and find peace through faith in Christ.
