David & Aliece

David and Aliece are grateful she has completed her training and received her counseling certification as they prepare to move later this year to their work in E Asia. They ask prayer that they will humbly rely on the Lord as they become involved with training local pastors, work in a team environment, and seek to be a blessing to the local churches with whom they work. Pray for the adjustment of their two young children to living in a new country.

Rob & Tunde

The church plant that Rob Futo is establishing in Budapest continues to grow utilizing all the seating in the coffee shop where they have been meeting. The Saturday youth program has been well received as have the small groups and men’s bi-weekly meetings. Pray they will have wisdom in decisions that need to be made, and for the couple mourning the loss of their baby at birth.

Brian & Terri

The Evangelistic Retreat that CO held in Thailand was very successful and Brian asks prayer for follow-up on the 21 non-believers who participated. CO is committed to building SLIM movements (sustainable/laborer-producing/indigenous/ multiplying movements) in the world. After 18 years in Thailand, Brian & Terri feel the time is right to move to another university location within the country. Pray as the family makes plans to move later this year.

Nick & Amanda

Pray that Nick and Amanda’s trip to their anticipated country of service provided answers to which city to choose, visa options, ministry opportunities, and school options for the girls. They hope to establish plans before the baby arrives in May and home leave this summer. Pray for clarification and peace about where the Lord will have them serve in the coming year.

Chris & Debbie

Pray for Chris and Debbie Gibson as they work through their new responsibilities with EPC/WO and wisdom on where and how to structure their role of supporting EPC missionaries throughout the world. Pray as they settle into a new U.S home base near Nashville and adjust to being empty nesters. They will be dividing their time between locations in three countries to be accessible to mission families in times of personal and ministry needs.

Daryl & Marlene

Daryl Bussert reports the two week Pilot Supervisor Course went well and he was encouraged to see positive trends and improvements corporately and individually in mission aviation worldwide. Pray for the two trips to Brazil by JAARS administrators and the aviation use survey to accomplish the goals needed to address direction and clarifications with the changing environment in Brazil.

Ukraine Dental team

Mary Quinlan will lead the medical/dental team outreach in Ukraine today through April 10. The team will treat orphans from Olexandrea and other area orphanages with dental and medical problems. Pray for effective outreach, that the kids will see Jesus’ love as the team ministers. Pray for Valya Bonderchuk, of Hope to People, who organizes and coordinates patients to be seen.

Craig & Stacy

Craig and Stacy Pohl, and daughters Karis and Aimee are on a brief visit to the States until May 18. Craig has just completed a three year term as Director of the Reformed Theological Academy in Chile. He asks that we pray for a clear sense of God’s calling for them as a family in the medium to long term so they can best glorify God with their lives. Chile’s academic year runs mid-March to Mid-December.

Karen

Following 17 days in Thailand, Karen T. is moving forward in her responsibilities for the Cambodian team while her country director is in the States on home leave. Being short teachers means having to rearrange class schedules and work with the university administration in setting up a Bachelor of English program for the coming academic year. Pray for energy, stamina, discernment, and flexibility as she tackles these tasks with joy.

Bill & Lauren

Bill and Lauren Finnell gave thanks for the many ways God has answered their prayers. Following his trip to the US, Bill began additional language classes. Lauren, Abby and Will were here for training, a conference led by the National Institute for Learning Disabilities, and to spend a little time with family and friends. Pray for this young family as they put down roots in Spain and continue in their quest to serve there.
