David & Aliece

Though she arrived a month early, David and Aliece are grateful for the safe arrival of little Ziera Sophia whose name means peace and tenderness. Pray David’s trip to E. Asia for the Reformed Theological conference provided heavenly wisdom, safety and strength for the 400+ attendees. He was not only busy teaching, but enjoyed serving and ministering to the locals in E. Asia and building life-long relationships with new people.

Scott & Tina

Scott and Tina give thanks for the outreach projects in Ethiopia and the development of their core eye care team at the Christian Medical Center. Their sons made a smooth transition back to school and are grateful for the teachers serving there. Pray for reconciliation and peace among the Ethiopian people and for progress in finishing renovations and importing equipment for the opening of the eye clinic this month. Also pray for their continued language study.

John & Dawn

John and Dawn are back from their leadership meeting in Amsterdam. While they were gone the landlord of their ministry friends called for a local shaman to come and remove the curse he believed had been placed on the residence through the Christian worship. Such actions indicate why courageous servants like John and Dawn endure much in their quest to bring light into these particularly dark spiritual strongholds.

David & Lisa

David and Lisa are grateful for the prayer support they felt as they dealt with his eye problem. It was diagnosed as wet macular degeneration and will be treated with injections and return trips to Thailand for check-up as they wait, watch, and pray. They ask prayer for total healing, provision of funds for the necessary extra travel, and completion of David’s dissertation before the program expires.

Ronnie & Jane

Pray that Ronnie and Jane can get their visas renewed quickly and without complication. Rejoice that he has been preaching regularly and was able to tape 30 sessions of “Encounters with Jesus” at a facility about an hour’s flight from home base. Pray those who see the video will truly encounter Jesus in a personal, life changing way. Pray also that Ronnie can continue to proclaim the Good News without restrictions.

India ST Team

A team of nine leaves today for India where they will work with national leaders to conduct both a women’s conference and church planter training for men. Please pray for Camille, Macon, Dina, Lizzie, Betty, Susan, Rob, Sarah and Ron as they travel and share the gospel. Rob will also visit our partners in another state.

Daryl & Marlene

Daryl asks prayer that the first section of the AIM AIR audit can be completed this week. The remaining sections and complete audit will be in April or May.  Pray for Daryl as he oversees preparation for this audit as well as finishes up helicopter flying for Missions at the Airport programs. Pray the safety professional, who is retiring in 3 years, will be interested in joining the JAARS team as his experience is a great match.

Argentina ST Team

Marcelo Robles took a team to New York to participate in the City to City “Faith and Works” Conference. Bill Martin, Howard Graham, and John Alexander journey today to Buenos Aires to follow up, train, and disciple leaders in the same program. Pray their time there will strengthen the on-going work of Marcelo and his team as they share together God’s plan for His church. They return Nov. 8.

Enoch

Praise the MRI on Enoch’s wife Karen came back without any signs of cancer. Enoch will be able to resume his travels to East Asia and participate in the many training sessions with pastors and church planters. Also pray as he prepares for a large conference to be held in May, which had 1500 attendees the last time it was held.
