Following the three week Leadership Project in S. Africa, Brandon McCord had a short stay in the US before returning to his work with Campus Outreach at the University of Johannesburg. He is taking a class which gives him greater access to students. Pray for several guys with whom he has had great conversations, particularly Marko, that he will truly give his life to Christ, and for effective witness among other students.

Pray for Sasha Flek as he steps down from the leadership of TaCesta in Prague to pursue a PhD in theology at Vrije University in Amsterdam. The leaders of TaCesta have been taking steps and moving toward his departure, pray for continued growth and stability for this young community as they adjust to another face on Sunday and a call to leadership.

Brian and Joanne are headed back to the Middle East to launch a new church and ask for prayer for a place to meet in the center of their city and that God will gather the right launch team and lead by His Spirit. Two churches nearby are sending people to join them including three experienced elders, some key lay leaders, and three staff, one of whom is from another faith background. Pray for all the logistics and team unity.

Norm and Ruth Ann thank God for the 136 new workers sent out in 2016, and pray for the Lord to give them wisdom navigating the challenges of cultural adjustment and settling into ministry. Pray for Ruth Ann to have wisdom as she counsels and encourages and assists in transition. Pray for Norm to have wisdom and discernment in stewarding Pioneers resources concerning the property headquarters.

Pray the passports for Jude and Gloria will be received soon so that Michael and Caroline can obtain visas for the family in order to return to their home and ministry. Pray the children and parents adapt quickly to each other as they grow in their relationship to each other and the Lord. Pray for protection for colleagues of Michael and Caroline as they live in a very unstable environment.

Bob Till asks prayer for the new believers in the refugee communities in Germany, Greece, and Lebanon. Pray for Amir the former imam as he continues to share Jesus and start churches with believers from Afghanistan and Iran. He challenges and trains them to share their faith and plant churches. Pray for spiritual growth to enable them to stand even in the midst of rejection by their own families and friends.

Rob Futo gives praise for the growth of his new church and rejoices they are able to double their space by expanding into the coffee shop next door connecting the two rooms. Tundi enjoys leading a small group of gifted choir members. Pray for Rob as he faces an important decision regarding the official status of the congregation as to which denomination or association of churches to join.

Pray for the Kachhwa ministry team as they grieve the loss of one of their own, Sureka, who died suddenly. She headed much of the women’s work, teaching literacy classes and the spoken English class, as well as being the mother of two young daughters. Pray especially for Catherine, who worked so closely with Sureka, Raju, Sureka’s husband Avinash, and the entire staff as they adjust to this loss.
