Daryl & Marlene

The Youngs

Pray the Youngs will be granted an OCI status, which will enable them to return to their country of service after their home leave. It hinges on her status being granted (then his will be automatic). Pray while here God will put them in the right places to find people who will serve in Asia especially Vietnam, Tajikistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, as well as a retirement-age couple for a city in northern India.

For more info on the Youngs, see page 23 of the prayer guide.

Kyle & Claudia

Kyle and Claudia Zimmerman report that the friends in Fatima facing charges are in a better situation and ask that we continue to pray for their small group. Claudia held a women’s event in Palermo while Kyle was setting up the sports ministry with his team. They are grateful for the donations that made the purchase of lights possible. They’ve had visiting missions teams serving at La Mision this summer and ask prayer for the health and energy they need.

Herb & Heather

Herb and Heather celebrated birthdays with a visit from their daughter Honor and revisiting places they have served the past 20 years in Mafraq. Pray the Doctors Assoc. will grant Annoor’s doctors a special associate status. The hospital still needs more patients and Herb asks prayer for their longest staying TB patient who is the only XDR treatment patient in the region and whose treatment is a miracle. Pray for a greater miracle: his heart to embrace the Good News for himself.

Joseph & Mandi

Joseph and Mandi have ended their time in India. Leaving was especially difficult as they saw the MEDIC program being shuttered and jobs lost, relationships changing, and its effect on Deepak whom Joseph mentored for the past two and a half years. Pray for a proper final resolution and for teammates who will be handling the final closure. Pray also for the fledgling church where Joseph served as elder and for Pastor B to press on to fight the good fight.

For more info on Joseph & Mandi, see page 20 of the prayer guide.

Bob & Janie

When we hear the world news we often don’t realize how it may touch those we support. The recent riot and fire in Greece where one of GEM’s teams was serving under Euro Relief, destroyed the office along with all paperwork, computers, etc. Bob and Janie Till ask prayer for the refugees, children, and Jeremy, their Euro-Relief camp leader. Continue to pray for Amir, who is still seeking official asylum status in Germany, and for a safe place to live and disciple new believers.

Pray for Ruslan as he leads the camp and speaks truth each night. Allison returns August 7.

Ruslan & Zhanna
