Thomas & Jennifer

The need for a teacher is at a crisis level for Thomas and Jennifer as they have only one month to find a teacher for the satellite school. It is a salaried position and urgently needed for the church planting families of the area. The Sunday worship has gone well with Thomas preaching in Mandarin and other coworkers leading the kids program. They both continue to face the challenges of marital and spiritual counseling as help key members encountering difficulties.

Greg & Sally

Although Sally is again dealing with cyclical depression, Greg was able to minister at the Pashtun Partnership annual meeting in the U.S. where he met and encouraged those ministering to the 45 million Pashtun in the Middle East. He then traveled to Thailand to bolster and resource younger missionaries serving among Muslims in 43 countries. Upon his return he stopped in Malaysia to encourage workers there. Pray for Sally’s recovery and for strength and wisdom for Greg as he encourages workers ministering to people around the world, many without fellowship or churches.

Heath & Angela

Heath and Angela ask prayer for peace in Kenya dealing with repeat elections and some nurses and other medical personnel still on strike effecting healthcare across most of the country. Selecting the next group of surgical residents was one of the first tasks facing Heath upon return from a year of training in the US. Angela’s hip fracture continues to heal and she is eager to return to her role at the hospital now that they have a teacher for the mission kids.

Tezar & Tatiana

Tezar and Tatiana are rejoicing that the Lord brought Gray to join Covenant City Church staff full time. The church outgrew its space and moved into a larger facility which also accommodates the children’s ministry. Tezar has been teaching a quarterly in-depth study and the community groups have grown to four with 15-25 meeting in groups throughout the city. Many of these are exploring the Gospel for the first time. Pray for Tezar & Tatiana as they direct the many aspects of this young, growing fellowship in Jakarta.

Pray for this family and for Marcelo to have wisdom and strength as he is faced with numerous family and ministry decisions.
