Jeff and Katie were grateful for the prayers regarding Chin, their friend from language school, whose sister requested a Christian burial though her family was unaware she had become a Christian. The family has since begun to attend church regularly, pray the light of the Gospel will illumine their hearts. Pray for wisdom and discernment as Jeff has begun mentoring a young guy at church, and for perseverance for he and Katie to become fluent in the language, eliminating barriers in communicating with Japanese friends.

Azim serves as the pastor of Rakim Fellowship, a church in Kazakhstan that has had to reorganize as a house church due to governmental regulations. Pray that Azim would have wisdom to envision his people both with meeting in smaller groups and in reaching out to people of other religions who live around them. Pray that Azim would be able to help his leaders develop a multiplying house church movement. Pray for wisdom as they consider the best schooling options for their children in a complicated educational environment.

Now that Lizzie Liddell and her new husband Steve Donley have settled on Romania for their first mission together, they can begin building their support team. They plan to go to Klug, a medium size city with numerous colleges and high schools, the two groups with whom they will share the Gospel. Pray for them to be led by the Holy Spirit as they establish their marriage and begin their mission process. Pray for comfort for Lizzie in the recent loss of her father.

Judy Mbugua founded Homecare Spiritual Fellowship (HSF) in Nairobi, Kenya. She asks prayer for the dress making initiative to economically disadvantaged women living in the Kibera slums. Pray for the Bethel School of Dressmaking as the staff selects students for its 2018 course. Each student receives a sewing machine unpon completion. Pray those who have already graduated will be able to start a sewing business that will hopefully impact their families and society.

As Craig and Stacy Pohl and their girls return to Chile after a six-month home leave, pray they can smoothly transition back into life there. Pray for Craig in his role as assistant pastor of the Lonquen Valley Presbyterian church where he and Stacy shepherd the leaders of three Bible study groups and the entire family participates in the music and worship ministry. Pray these ministries will draw more unbelievers to their church.

Tezar is dealing with issues that come with a successful ministry. Last fall Covenant City Church moved into a new facility to accommodate the church’s growth, but now they are nearing the new facility’s capacity of 180. Pray for the church as they prepare to move to two services later this spring. Pray that Tezar and the other church leaders would have wisdom to prepare new leaders, to serve those who come to the church, and to continue their outreach teaching ministries. Ask God to bless Tatiana, who is expecting their second child in April.

Pray for Samedy and his senior staff as they seek to develop a new church empowerment zone (CEZ) in Tbong Khmom, that would serve as a pilot program for other provinces in Cambodia. The new CEZ seeks to develop a discipleship base that will envision new believers to serve the vulnerable in their communities. Pray for Samedy to be able to build collaboration among other Christian leaders, and ask God to give him wisdom and perseverance as both government and society create obstacles to their work.

As International Director of the China Partnership, Enoch stresses the importance of prayer to the work of the Partnership. As he trains pastors to proclaim a Christ-centered, Gospel-centered message in their preaching and ministries, he realizes the significance of prayer to the point of beginning a weekly prayer guide for the Partnership. He asks we pray for the strengthening of the churches in view of governmental restrictions being imposed.

Dan and Catherine Burns have finished up a week participating in the Young Life Conference in Kazakhstan and are now doing member care with some of our missionaries in Spain, Italy, and Turkey as they make their way to Ukraine where Dan will teach at the Bible Seminary before returning March 24.

Praise for the team leader training Randy and Martha had in SE Asia for five couples. Pray that the training retreat will build a stronger collaborative community of leaders. They ask prayer for their neighbor “A” to come to faith along with his family. Pray for Randy’s new role revising the training program for new World Outreach field workers, and for their children Joel and Rachel in their school situations.
