As regional leaders the Youngs have been in E Asia visiting teams there, as well as in Cambodia and Thailand exploring new opportunities and briefing teams who had to miss the Asia conference. Pray for their local teams as they work to develop business platforms that not only fit the skills and passions of team members but lead to relationships for deep conversations about Jesus.

Pray for Almagul, the church Dan and Catherine Burns began many years ago, and for its leadership. The church leaders and their families have been going through leadership training and will soon be ordained as elders. Arman, the pastor was elected for a three-year term to lead the presbytery and has been in the US participating in an intensive course on the marks of a healthy church. Pray for the church in Kazakhstan as state authorities tighten the activity of local evangelical churches.

Lift up Judy Mbugua who has been battling ill-health since the beginning of the year. Give thanks for the students in the Bethel dressmaking class who passed the Government Trade Test. Pray for students’ health, for the teacher to have wisdom as he trains the young women, and that God will enable positive changes in the behavior of the students.

Steffen Weil has been given a clear vision of roles and the people to fill those roles in the Potsdam church. Pray for Katharina-family leader, Nate-small group coordinator, Angelina-worship service coordinator, and Christian-organizational coordinator, and for the new leadership team to have wisdom, discernment of scripture and understanding of God’s design for His church. Pray for workers to come and join the work in eastern Germany.

Praise that Ronnie and Jane received their visa renewal in time to return to Moscow for previously scheduled commitments. They both have been leading various groups in Bible study and ask prayer for these and other planned ministries.

Praise that Michael’s bout with pneumonia is over and he can resume teaching at the university. Pray for the seeds planted by Caroline and him with Love and her husband would grow, and that trust between the two families would increase. Pray for Turkan, F’s mother, to know the Father as she enters into His presence. Pray for the locals who heard the Easter message for the first time at the Hungarian embassy and for opportunities to interact with them.

Pray for Tim and Tanya, as they develop their own fitness center, Viking Fitness, to connect young people with Young Life volunteers and team members. Pray for strong relationships among the leaders of both the Special Needs and typical Young Life clubs, that they might effectively serve kids and introduce them to Christ.

Pray for Thomas and Jennifer as they return to Taiwan to serve their growing church and ministry. Pray for Thomas to have wisdom and restraint as he re-enters a ministry while learning new diet limitations, a complex issue in a country where eating together is crucial, and while waiting for his medicine to reach full effectiveness in 3-6 months.

Praise that after many months of diligent prayer and continued effort by the administrative staff, Annoor is finally being granted renewed residency permits for its volunteer staff. Continue to pray that the process goes smoothly and without incident. Pray that as they continue to serve the many sick TB patients, sickness will be turned to a healed spirit in the Lord Jesus.
