Herb & Heather

Herb and Heather share a pressing need at Annoor. The team serving in the Ras An Naqab clinic and the village it serves has been experiencing a crime wave. Pray for the Annoor security manager as he implements security upgrades for the team as they seek to bring the Good News to that impoverished region of Jordan. Pray for a full time Jordanian assistant to handle all the government regulations for operating legally and without delay regarding permits, visas, etc.

Scott & Tina

Pray for Scott and Tina Lawrence’s short home leave to be refreshing and provide a chance to connect with supporters, family, and friends in need. Scott has been teaching and doing planning to bring medical teams to Ethiopia while Tina and James have checked out colleges prior to his senior year. Pray for growth of their eye care ministry as they seek to reach out to underserved communities even as they give thanks that volume at the clinic has nearly doubled in the last year.

Daryl & Marlene

Daryl and Marlene Bussert report that the internal audit of JAARS Aviation and the external audit in the International Aviation Safety section went well. Pray for the PNG Aviation Manager, Loren, who suffered a serious motorcycle accident and had to be med evac’d to Australia for surgery. Pray for healing and protection from complications. Pray all aspects of the PNG audit go well.

Thomas & Jennifer

Pray for Thomas and Jennifer who have returned to Taiwan following an unplanned medical leave and for Thomas to adjust well to living with his new health condition where life has a new normal. Pray for Jennifer as she transitions back into ministry and gets ready for a new intern. Pray also for Ashlee and Tyler as they readjust to Chinese School.

Youth Mexico Team

Our senior high team departs today to work with longtime partner, Shalom Presbyterian Church and Blas Pascal School in Merida, Mexico. Will Nease, Bill Jorgensen, Carly Roberts and Lindsey Hearon will lead the group of 21 who will do construction work at the school and a new church building and form relationships with high school students who attend the church’s youth group. The team will join in their weekly activities and minister to the local students before returning July 14.

Indonesia ST Team

J. T. and Hannah Pitner lead a team to work with Covenant City Church doing VBS to help engage new families in the church. J.T., Hannah, Isaac Robinson, and Mary Larkin Rumbarger will also spend time visiting our mission partners, Tezar, Tatiana, and Jackie, during the two-week period before returning July 15. Pray for a time of encouragement, refreshment, and team building while there.

Brian & Terri

Brian F recently shared at Grace City Church’s retreat. Grace City seeks to reach middle class Thais in the heart of Bangkok. Pray for the word of God to touch all who attended. Brian and Terri’s son Will was married recently in the US and Brian performed the ceremony. As they return to Thailand tomorrow, pray for their ministry plans to reach many of the 4,000 freshmen at MJU.

Ukraine ST Team

John and Marilyn Whittemore are in Ukraine where they will be part of a team from Hope to People leading two camps in the Carpathian Mountains. The camp for younger children from orphanages and difficult families runs from today through July 11 with a camp for older students and graduates of the orphanages July 13-20. Pray for effective witness for Jesus and strong relationships between campers and the leadership team as well as health and safety of all.

Youth Budapest Team

Adrianne Cranford and Kevin McQuillen lead a team of 12 senior high students to Budapest today to partner with the Paulus Movement where they will run an English conversation camp for junior and senior high school students. The team will be teaching conversational English and playing sports and games, all to build relationships with Hungarian students. Pray they will also build team relationships and grow in their faith as they share it. They return July 15th.

Tim & Tanya

Tim and Tanya are involved with nine different summer camps all over Kyrgyzstan, pray for logistics, relationship building, and spiritual fruitfulness. They have just completed an event for special needs kids with 73 kids and volunteers participating in horseback riding, carnival games, quad bikes and a magic show with Tim the magician.
