Pray for Faith Blanchard to be accepted into Physical Therapy school before leaving for a year to work among youth in Uganda, and for wisdom in the use of her time before she leaves later this month. Pray for time with her family and friends to be sweet. Pray she will learn to abide in Him and be attentive to His leading.

John and Dawn’s annual meeting with Area Leaders came in between travels to India and Egypt. Along the way they met medical students who they were able to share the gospel with as God calls people into his ministry. It brings them much joy that their beloved children are progressing well in the languages they are learning. Pray for this expanded family as they prepare and navigate the region equipping many teams.

We rejoice with Andy over the 13 CO International missionaries deployed to overseas to work alongside indigenous church leaders to reach college students and disciple them in a local church context. Located in areas where there are less than 5% evangelical Christians and in one location 50-60% of the university students in the city are Muslim, pray for maturing faith and wisdom for these new laborers and for those in the pipeline right behind them.

Pray those from the Ministry of Health who inspected Annoor were pleased to see the excellent health care being given by the sanatorium. Give thanks that many of the volunteers from around the world have received residence permits allowing them to work in Jordan, as many had waited over a year for these permits. Herb asks prayer that the Lord will raise up a new team to relaunch the important ministry to the Bedouins in the south and enable the reopening of the Ras An Naqab clinic.

Even as they have seen an increase in persecution in the past six months China Partnership has also seen God faithful and actively working. He is expanding the reach of the church through new church plants. As they hope to plant over twenty new churches this year, pray that God would continue to bless the growth of the Chinese church in the Northeast and that they would see much fruit even in midst of hardship.

Daryl and Marlene Bussert are facing several heavy administrative issues and ask prayer for guidance as they make administrative adjustments to incorporate one safety management system over their operations. Pray the couple considering working with JAARS Aviation Safety after retiring from the military will have a clear leading from the Lord in this matter.

Juan Patt asks prayer for God to give him vision, good health, and energy to fulfill his responsibilities to the presbytery as well as his church. Juan reports women are meeting Saturdays to study God’s word and pray, while the sports ministry gathers the same day. Pray for these ministries to grow spiritually. Give thanks for the baptism of new members that they will not only embrace the gospel but also the vision of Prince of Peace Church.

The Youngs are grateful to spend a couple of months with his parents in NC helping them downsize while still very much involved with their ministry activities in South Asia. Their local teammate Kim has started a company and is seeking college level interns to volunteer for 4-8 weeks of marketing and accounting work. Pray this would be an opportunity for both interns and residents of the area.

Brian asks we pray for the CO Thailand Leadership team as they meet to pray together and hold each other accountable and collaborate. Pray the impact of the recent CO summer camp, even without several guys from MJU, encouraged the leadership as they seek to build a SLIM (Sustainable Labor Producing Indigenous) Movement. Pray God will give spiritual wisdom and understanding as they lead.

Dave and Joyce find it challenging to do translation and literary work for Papua from the U.S., especially when there are logistical issues to be worked out there. Pray Dave can secure office space for Yomi, his national counterpart, so he can concentrate on translating portions of the OT as well as oversee restoration of the solar panels and water tower in the Bauzi village of Noiadi. Pray for Joyce as she plans to revisit Papua later this year to work with a friend on literacy related issues.
