Jonathan & Sharon

Jonathan and Sharon had a smooth transition from Delhi to Dehradun, leaving the Fusion Church where they had served for two and a half years in capable hands and a healthy place. Pray for wisdom as the move means Jonathan must travel more as he does servant leadership training in different locations. Pray for them as they hope to start a regular fellowship in their home and recruit some Bible college students to help. Another couple who moved with them hope to start an International school as an outreach to young families.

Scott & Tina

The first class of ophthalmology residents began their training the month the Lawrences moved to Ethiopia. In Sept, they graduated six of those residents, two of whom will return as faculty to St. Paul’s Hospital and the others will serve in hospitals hundreds of miles from Addis Ababa. As Scott mentored them, he was pleased to see how they matured in their capacity to care for patients in a severely under-resourced environment. He is thankful for growing partnerships with local churches through which they provide sight-restoring surgeries and spiritual ministry on a weekly basis.

Thomas & Jennifer

Pray for Thomas and Jennifer as they lead the church and deal with Satanic attacks or oppression among those in their midst. They have mostly tried to deal with these people from a counseling/psychological standpoint but realize that only prayer can truly free them and their families from bondage. Pray specifically for Shu and Mr. Su, and spiritual attacks they have faced as a missionary team. Pray that Mr. Lou who studies the Bible with Thomas will move to believing in Jesus.
