Jackie

Jackie reports that although CCC continues to meet exclusively online, God is doing some amazing things. She shares: “I never in a million years would have said that a global pandemic, and meeting online for seven months and counting, was an effective strategy to grow the church in Jakarta, but that is exactly what He is doing!” 17 women’s small groups have met; a huge answer to prayer as many new leaders were equipped to lead others in the study of the Word. Pray the seeds would take root and grow, both in the hearts of the leaders and in the hearts of the 124 women who joined the study.

Faith & Seme

Faith and Seme give praise that they are expecting! Pray for Faith’s health, the health of the baby, and for her to find foods to sit well with her. Pray the Lord would continue to help Faith and Seme adjust to one another and be patient with each other as they learn through their differences. Pray for their young church, and for them as young leaders, for wisdom to know how to steward His people well and how to establish this church. Lastly, pray for Faith’s visa as she will be applying for a work visa through Seme’s church.

Raju & Catherine

Due to the pandemic, Raju and Catherine are currently residing close to Jonathan and Sharon. They have been able to facetime with their other children and give praise for the healthy birth of another granddaughter in Sept. Pray for rest and relaxation for Raju and Catherine, and for the staff at Kachhwa as they have several doctors transitioning on and off staff. Pray for protection from Covid for their staff and patients.

Allison

It has been just over a month since Allison arrived in South Africa. She is getting more comfortable driving and getting around, learning what her role will be and transitioning into it, and getting lots of quality time with the staff. Pray that God would continue to be near to her in this process, that she would rest in his nearness as he goes before and beside her, and that she would take hold of his promises with confidence to walk by faith into a new season of life and ministry.

For more info on Allison see page 86 of the prayer guide.

Brandon

Brandon with WR Cambodia is grateful they were able to provide a month of food, blankets, and mosquito nets to over 200 families who suffered income losses due to covid. He asks prayer for church facilitators as they follow up with those they have been discipling. Praise they were able to hire a new Child Development Facilitator in Pursat, as the current one had to resign to stay home with her young children.

For more info on Brandon see page 68 of the prayer guide.

Clarke & Khrystya

Like many of our ministry partners around the world, Clarke and Khrystya are learning to navigate life amid Covid. Their church had great attendance while meeting outdoors and even had visitors. Pray for their church as government restrictions will require them to go back online once cold weather hits and they can no longer meet outside. Pray for the visitors and new members to continue to grow strong in their faith. Pray for creativity and wisdom for Clarke and Khrystya in parenting their two young children.

For more info on Clarke & Khrystya see page 18 of the prayer guide.

Greg & Elizabeth

Greg and Elizabeth helped organize a week of prayer for their city, team, pastors, leaders, and believers. Let’s join them in prayer for their city as it deals with a free falling economy, for their team as they wait for new team members to join them, for the church to thrive despite current restrictions of meeting in person, for deeper reliance on Jesus, and for believers to grow in faith each day.

For more info on Greg & Elizabeth see page 42 of the prayer guide.

Mike & Stephanie

Pray for Mike & Stephanie as he prepares and delivers a course on the history of Muslim-Christian relations (by Zoom) at the Ethiopian Theological College in Addis Ababa. Since Mike does not know the context or the students, he has been working hard to get up to speed. Course dates are Dec. 7-18 and run three hours each day. Pray the course will be transformational for students enabling them to see Muslims in ways they had not before.

For more info on Mike & Stephanie see page 41 of the prayer guide.

Herb & Heather

Continue to lift-up Herb as he waits for his residency. He has consulted with some friends and they have told him there is some official resistance to granting him a residency and to the ministry of Annoor in general. Please pray for those in authority and for any who have chosen to resist the ministry at Annoor. Pray for Heather caring for Aileen, and for her continued recovery as she is now up and walking around.

For more info on Herb & Heather see page 40 of the prayer guide.

Roger & Abi

Roger and Abi share that unreliable internet is one of the challenges they faced moving worship from their living room to a building where only twenty can gather, and five churches are trying to live stream. With relaxed restrictions, they tried a church picnic, but found that even with masks and social distancing, nervous guards kept interrupting and breaking up their games. Despite all this, they trust in God’s continued care for this church. Pray for creativity and flexibility while they try to keep everyone connected.
