Pray for safe travel, good health, and no issues with her visa as Jackie leaves Jan. 16th for Indonesia. She is excited to report that they have an incredible team of 15 men and women who have agreed to serve the Lord in the new Bahasa church plant. They will begin meeting as a group this month and prayerfully plan to host their first virtual service at the end of February. Pray for the Lord to provide this group with His wisdom, peace and creativity as they seek to reach the people of Indonesia.

We have been praying for Herb’s residency permit. On Dec. 30th, he, Heather, Ruba and her family had a three hour meeting and meal with the official. In the end he promised that in mid January when Herb makes the 8th request for his residency to be renewed that he will make sure it is granted. Please pray that he will follow through on this promise. He also assured them that Heather can travel to the U.S. in January the birth of Rylan and Honor’s first child. Pray that her travel in and out of Jordan will not be restricted.

Pray for Allison who will move from Pretoria to Johannesburg this month, pray for housing, logistics and for the government to approve a 90 day extension to her tourist visa. Pray also as she prepares to take over some of the big picture responsibilities and finances, and that she would continue to catch on quickly and daily depend on God.

Robby and the GROW staff give thanks that the reconstruction of their damaged facility is complete! During construction, the team was busy with home visits after the explosion. They prayed, listened, and cried with those who were suffering, and gave out food voucher cards to the community. Pray for the well-being of the staff who has been working with a trauma specialist, and for the reopening of the GROW center to be successful.

We have prayed for Steve & Marion and the Genesis University team regarding the possible purchase of an existing school campus. Recently they met Jonathan, who is planting a church in that same area. Pray they can partner together on this campus thus giving Genesis a facility to start school and the Living Stone Bible Church plant the ability to reach out to one of the fastest growing communities in South Africa.

Welcome to our newest missionaries Steve and Margaret Winstead! They and their four sons leave today for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where Steve will pastor the International church there. Praise they have a rental house ready for their arrival and the boys are enrolled in Bingham Academy. Pray for safe travels, for their possessions to arrive, and for swift adjustment to their country, city, ministry, and team.

Guille’s team hosted a virtual conference with more than 40 new contacts. They praise God for the interest they saw in these participants and pray for new churches to be planted. Pray that God will bless the new and revitalized churches with whom they are working, for Nuevo Avivamiento church, for wisdom as they strive to share the Good News through different means during the lockdown and for God to guide Guille in the process of publishing his first book, a discipleship guide for growing in your faith.

Like the “telephone game” sharing Bible studies verbally can result in information getting changed, so Nicole and local M’s are creating Bible story videos. Pray for the Lord to guide them in this endeavor. “Lucy” and her friend responded to the FB page, pray for them to not back out of meeting a local worker in person. Pray the Lord will continue to bring people to these FB pages who will respond to the Gospel and put their faith in Him. Pray the two sisters who will be joining the Bible study will grow in their understanding of the Gospel and in fellowship.

Leslie thanks God for her ministry to GEM missionaries in Germany. She asks prayer that she would listen well and ask good questions. Please pray for workers training in Berlin, Cologne, and Frankfurt and as the Lord for grace in their language acquisition, cultural adaptation, and missing family during the holidays.  Leslie asks for the hope of the gospel to penetrate the hearts of the hopeless and the 10,000 homeless of Berlin.

Jeff and Lynne are celebrating 20 years on the field in Southeast Asia!  Praise God for his faithfulness and for movement toward relief from Covid in Mlysia.  Their 5 children and 90% of the country is now vaccinated. Praise God they have finally returned to in person school! They rejoice at the completion of a 5-year intensive prayer effort for the M people and pray that the Lord will take them into a time of reaping that many would be saved. Praise God for the first known convert from media ministry and for Lynne’s work with the Rohingya refugee women.
