Chris and Debbie Gibson ask for us to pray for fresh ways to effectively counsel church leaders during this extended period of lockdown when so many are weary, for healing for one missionary family whose son is not doing well emotionally, and for faithful workmen to do needed repairs on their house.

Brian and Joanne give praise to God that their church can now meet for 60 min for corporate worship gatherings. As leaders of a multi-cultural church, they ask prayer for many in cross cultural dating relationships to have wisdom with parents. Brian had the opportunity to serve as a guest lecturer, pray for the Emirati students with whom he shared the gospel.

Larry Brown asks prayer for African Bible College as the president of Malawi has ordered all schools closed due to Covid. Pray for good internet access as many students do not have reliable power or internet. Pray they can return to in person teaching soon. Pray for son Carey as he graduates high school and plans to enroll in college in the states. Pray that the Lord will pour out his Spirit on Larry and Carey, and on ABC Malawi, and that they will receive great joy from his Presence.

After 12 years of service in their city, the Youngs feel that the Lord is leading them to serve in another city in their host country. Pray for the Lord to clearly guide this transition and to cause ministries begun in their present city to flourish and grow. Pray for the Lord to provide a teacher for the expat children in their present community.

Juan and Maria ask prayer for physical and spiritual health as they minster at both Prince of Peace in Corozal and Harvest in the village of Calcutta. Pray that God would bless and encourage their church members to be committed to Him, raise up future elders of the church, and call more Belizean men to serve as pastors. Pray for the Lord to give Juan vision as he serves on several boards and committees. Pray for God to bring a revival in Belize pouring out His power, granting repentance from sin, instilling a love for Christ, and a new obedience and zeal for evangelism.

Praise Nicole was finally able to meet the TCK group in person. Pray these kids will grow in their faith and in their relationships with one another. Pray they can also find a way to safely meet in person once a month. She was also excited to take part in creating children’s videos that teach Christian values. Pray the videos can be released soon and be a blessing to many families, and that they can open doors for meeting and interacting with people of the majority religion.

Praise for safe and uneventful travel as Haley is now back in her apartment at Annoor. Pray for transitioning into the long haul of her first full term at the hospital. Pray for all the different aspects of her life to be in balance as she is starting seminary and hoping to grow into her new city as things reopen throughout the COVID recovery process.

Our newest missionaries, Steve and Margaret Winstead have landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where Steve is serving as lead pastor of International Evangelical Church, a large multinational church. They ask for the Lord to provide great friends for their boys, Samuel, Noah, Benjamin, and Daniel. Pray that Steve will lead well and clearly proclaim the gospel at IEC. Pray for peace as there is civil unrest in northern Ethiopia that is impacting the region. Pray that the Lord will send his Holy Spirit in great power to advance his Kingdom in Ethiopia, and to the ends of the earth.

After several cancellations and rebooking, Virginia’s flight is set to leave today for E. Asia. Pray for uneventful and safe travel, for good health, and for her time in quarantine once she arrives. After contacting several companies, she found a connection to ship her belongings. Pray they arrive undamaged and where they are supposed to be, and for her adjustment back into her ministry and life in E. Asia.

Months after the blast, Lebanon is still in a state of crises. Robby asks prayer for staff who are impacted by rising inflation and devaluation of the Lira. Pray for them as many of their husbands have lost their jobs and they are the only bread winners. Many of the families they minster to are open to hear about the good news and some have begun studying the Bible. Pray God continues to touch the community with the good news. They made an offer on land for a second GROW location, pray for them as they wait to hear back from the owners.
