Andy and Brooke with Campus Outreach Serve ask prayer that the Lord will work powerfully in indigenous students and staff to evangelize the lost and make disciples now that new missionaries have been limited due to COVID. May their ownership of the Great Commission grow in a new and deeper way. They ask that we pray that the lessons of COVID would not be lost on CO or the church – that they would emerge more Christlike, loving and serving a dying world. Please pray for spiritual renewal and revival within their family and all the families of CO.

It was bittersweet as Paul and Violette celebrated their last Christmas and New Year in Japan. They plan to return to the U.S. this summer or fall. Pray for their preparations as it seems overwhelming to them. They are having trouble saying goodbye to their home and friends in Japan, cleaning out their house of all kinds of memorable stuff that has accumulated over the years, and deciding what to take, what to give away or sell, and what to throw. Pray that their church develops enough to stand on its own to be the Body of Christ.

Still mourning the death of her mother, Dawn and John have also dealt with her dad having COVID and being hospitalized. He is home, no longer needs oxygen, and Home Health is helping him regain his strength. Pray he can recover a measure of independence. Due to his current needs, John and Dawn are adjusting to the reality of not being able to return to Thailand anytime soon. They are grateful to be able to carry out their responsibilities from the U.S. Pray for restrictions to be lifted so they can visit their teams in the SE Asia region.

Pray for Kyle, Claudia, and their family as they mourn the loss of Kyle’s father who passed on Dec. 26th. Kyle shares it was even more unique living it from so far away. Praise they had already planned to travel to visit the states this month and will be in Memphis until early March. Pray for a sweet time with family and friends through this season of grief.

Steve and Lizzie made the very difficult decision to return to the U.S. for the foreseeable future. Steve has dealt with health issues since they moved, pray for his healing. They are back in Memphis and have found a house to rent, pray they can get reestablished quickly. Pray for them in this season of transition, for peace of mind, to love God more deeply, and for a clear understanding of God’s plan for their future.

Recently David and Lisa have experienced loss; the death of four friends, the return of family members to the states, and the inability to meet with those whom they serve. Nevertheless, they are grateful they can mentor online and that daughter, Bella, is progressing in school. Pray for comfort in their loss, for needed visas to come through early this month, and for Jesus to continue to use them to encourage others.

Herb and Heather are grateful that she was able to travel to the U.S. to see new granddaughter Noelle born to Honor and Rylan. She plans to return to Jordan tomorrow. Pray for safe travel, good health and no issues getting back into the country. Pray for Herb as he reapplies for his residency this week. The official they met with in January promised a favorable response, pray he follows through with that promise.

Allison has been living in an Airbnb since arriving in Johannesburg mid-January. Pray she has been able to find a permanent housing solution starting this month. Also pray for her physical health, for her body to feel settled amidst all the changes. Several staff have family members who have been deeply affected by COVID – pray for comfort for her team and healing for those who are sick.
