John & Dawn

John and Dawn marvel at the way the Lord has opened doors of opportunity through Zoom and other technologies allowing them to come alongside others who are serving amidst ever shifting Covid realities. Last month John spoke in N. Africa, his first time traveling internationally in over a year. An African brother shared, “the doors of opportunity are open as never before, but we don’t know how long they will remain open. We need your help.” Pray that John’s time there encouraged these professionals who have surrendered themselves to go to unreached areas to make Christ known. May our heavenly King be exalted over this time and may His purposes result in much fruit being born among those who have never heard!

Thomas, Jennifer and their kids are in the U.S. for a one-year home assignment, residing in Texas near Jennifer’s family. Pray for them as they help their kids transition to life here since they were so young during their last visit, everything in the U.S. feels new to them. They miss their friends in Taiwan and don’t know any kids here yet, and Tyler has been particularly moody and homesick. Pray for Jennifer who will be doing some writing and taking on additional responsibilities for OMF. Thomas will be working on his Doctor of Ministry from Knox Theological Seminary. Pray for them to do all this well and find balance in their various responsibilities.
