Chris and Debbie Gibson enjoyed time at a friend’s beach house in July following a very busy June. Praise God that their Sun Rise House ministry center in Budapest is being used in their absence. Pray that they would be able to return soon. Pray for the many needs of the missionary families they serve, that the Lord would bring healing, restoration, and peace.

Pray for Jackie in Jakarta as the second wave of Covid is surging. Pray for encouragement as many sense things are regressing, and for the hope of the Gospel to move in the hearts of the people. Pray Joel 2:25 with Jackie, that the Lord will “restore to us the years that the swarming locust has eaten.” Praise God for the 5 new members of the Bahasa church plant, and for the “Seasons of Waiting” book study. Pray for relief for friends who are suffering. Pray for the church’s reopening and launch plans, that the Lord would enable them to resume.

Melanie with CO Brazil rejoices that her disciple Lorrayne shared the Gospel with Carina who has come to Christ! Hayley in England discipled Charis who has led Charlotte to Christ! Rodrigo in Mexico disciples Alex, who shared with Nathan, who professed faith in Jesus! Paola in the Philippines discipled Fern, who has led Jury to Christ! They prayed for a specific worker for Benefits and HR, and the Lord has called a long-time friend to serve in this capacity. Praise God that he is a prayer-answering God.

Dean and Kyria ask for prayer as they apply for a residential visa, which is necessary for access to Covid vaccines. Pray for patience and clarity through this process. Dean continues to struggle with his Achilles tendon, pray for a breakthrough of healing as they return to the states for a 3 to 6-month medical leave. Pray for growth in language acquisition. Pray for the Lord to build their team and send his Spirit in great power to begin a work of revival in their country. Ask for perseverance, peace, and joy as they serve through difficult times.

Paul and Violette Bridgman celebrate 30 years of service in Japan. Praise God that he has established Sakuragaoka Church with a Japanese pastor and elders and deacons. Paul preached his last sermon on July 25th, and suspects, that just as the apostle Paul knew that he would not see his Ephesian brothers in this life, that apart from virtual connections, the same will be true of these lifelong friends and partners. Pray for Paul and Violette’s move to Arkansas, for their adjustment to retirement, and for the Lord’s blessing to visit supporting churches in a farewell trip. Thank the Lord for his great faithfulness in the lives of these two.

Greg and Sally continue to battle through his returned cancer and her recurring depression. Praise God that his recent surgery and treatments have halted the spread of his cancer but pray as the side effects of the treatments are significant. Praise that Greg and partner Bob B. have placed ten new disciple makers in Baghdad, and many church planters in Libya. Pray for strength and healing that they may continue to serve the Lord in outreach to Muslims, for the grace they need each day, and that the Lord would multiply their work many times over.

Juan and Maria Patt praise God for her 3 month leave after 9 years of teaching and for the Lord moving her teaching job closer to home. Pray for their daughters Stephanie and Joanna, for the Lord to make them strong women of God. Pray for physical strength and healing for Juan that the Lord would give him what he needs as he serves the church in Belize. Pray for growth both in number and in faith for Prince of Peace and Harvest Church. Praise God for Elias’ salvation, and for Ismael Lopez who is helping in ministry. Pray for the Lord to grow the church members in their commitment and dependence on Him.

Josh celebrated his two-year anniversary of teaching in a Muslim country. He praises God for a good adjustment from fear of the new, to embracing the culture and people of his city. Pray for God’s blessing on his brief summer break – a hiking trip in the country. Pray for the church as they continue to navigate Covid and ask the Lord to bless the new church service in the native language. Pray for more people to be vaccinated and for an end to Covid. Pray for salvation and spiritual growth in Josh’s students. Ask for boldness to share the gospel, and for receptive hearts to receive it.

Herb and Heather at Annoor hospital report both the working of miracles as well as the request for more miracles. Often patients come with conditions that Annoor is not equipped to treat, but after prayer and referral, they later hear of healing. Pray for the TB patients who need not only healing from their disease, but also from the social circumstances that led to the disease.  Pray for God’s provision for the approval of residency visas. Pray that the staff and patients experience the miracle of spiritual renewal each day, by the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jonathan and Sharon praise the Lord for a large-scale prayer and worship movement that had believers meeting weekly for 12 continuous hours of prayer, with miraculous results. One pastor received a vision of Jesus while in a 20-day coma. The doctors had given up hope, but in his vision, the Lord breathed into his nostrils, and the next day he opened his eyes. Another pastor despaired after praying for healing for his brother, who then died. However, days later another pastor asked him to pray for his mother, who was in another location. At that very moment she got up, began to walk, and was healed.
