The Youngs have safely arrived in their new city. Ask the Lord to provide new friends, good connections with future colleagues and churches, and to send His Spirit to rest in this city, working salvation. Pray for individuals in their sphere of influence: Kailash, Akr, Asl, and other Muslim and Hindu friends. Praise God that some of their Asian partners have been able to return to the field! Pray ahead for time in the U.S. in October, that the Lord would provide a place to stay on the beach.  Praise God for his faithfulness in their lives.

Haley reports from Annoor that the hospital census is high, and they are grateful that God has brought these TB patients. Pray for the men and women with drug resistant TB who will be there for an extended time, and for the Lord to reveal Himself to them. Praise God that Haley is happy and adjusting well after 18 months at the hospital. Pray for unity and good communication among the foreign and local staff. Pray for the Lord to continue to provide the needed resources for the hospital and for favor from those in government.

Juan gives praise for good health and asks prayer for healing of Maria’s migraines. Pray for daughters Stephanie and Joanna as they grow in their faith. Pray for endurance and joy as Juan serves the Presbyterian Church in Belize, and pastors Prince of Peace Church, and Harvest Church. Ask the Lord to provide a newer car for the family, both for ministry and personal use. Pray for the Lord to defeat the Enemy, whose work is apparent in Belize.

Chris and Debbie continue to provide member care to WO missionaries who are stateside due to Covid. Pray for their two trips this month which are a great blessing, as they would not have been able to visit were they all in their countries of assignment! Pray for personal connection and God’s wisdom as they minister to these families. Pray for WO children, teens, and college age MK’s as they are receiving many requests for counseling needs of children who are suffering from the various effects of Covid. Pray for Chris and Debbie’s return to Budapest which is scheduled for September.

We celebrate Paul and Violette’s return to the US after a lifetime of service in Japan. Praise God for Sakuragaoka Church, pastor Osaka and the elders and deacons that the Lord has raised up. Ask the Lord to grow this church both in number and faith. Pray for the Bridgmans as they settle into retirement close to family in Arkansas. Ask the Lord to bring healing to their bodies and encouragement to their hearts. Pray they can visit supporters over the next year and be a light for Jesus in their retirement years.

Jon and Mo report that this year is unlike anything that they could have imagined. They had expected to be in Indonesia by now, but the resurgence of Covid is preventing them from going. Pray for grace, peace, and patience as they wait, and that they will be open to learning the lessons that God may be teaching them. Praise God for the provision of housing through the end of the year. Ask the Lord to continue to advance His Kingdom in Indonesia.

Dean and Kyria are in the US on medical leave. Pray for good and timely medical treatment and healing for his Achilles tendon. Continue to pray that the Lord would move in their Central Asian country providing workers as the harvest is still great and workers are few. Praise God for providing the visas that they needed, as well as a position at a foreign owned company as a platform for ministry. Pray for the Lord to prepare the hearts of many who would hear, believe, and labor with them upon their return.

Greg and Sally rejoice that she has emerged from six months of depression with energy and a renewed spirit! Pray for physical strength and healing for Greg as his chemotherapy treatments have created a state of lethargy. Ask the Holy Spirit to heal him and give him the strength and ideas that he needs as he guides workers in Muslim lands and completes his novel about a Pashtun missionary. Pray that the book will be used to advance His Kingdom.

Pray for the Lord to bless Herb and Heather as they spend time in Canada: a two-week quarantine, three months of home ministry assignment to report to supporters, a one-month vacation to rest and be renewed, and hopefully a family reunion with their children and grandchildren. Pray that the Spirit of Jesus will lead them during this time, that they will be renewed in their walk with the Lord, and that they will be an encouragement to others. Pray that the Lord will bless and sustain the work in Jordan while they are gone.

John and Dawn continue to lead their teams from the U.S. As the pandemic rages and the darkness increases, the presence of the Holy Spirit is apparent as they see miraculous works declaring His glory and bringing many to Christ. Pray for grace and mercy for Myanmar, crippled by Covid and government overthrow. Pray for John and Dawn’s adult children as they serve in Papua, Thailand, and other S. Asian nations. Pray for relief from Covid, and for vaccinations for these third world nations. Praise God for the outpouring of His Spirit throughout South Asia: pray that He would continue to provide the workers.
