Clarke and Khrystya are back in the U.S. for furlough and his course work at Covenant Seminary. Pray that the Lord would use this time to nourish them so that they become better servants for Him and direct them to a great church while here. Pray for Holy Trinity Church in Lviv in their absence that God would continue the work that he began in their VBS and English camp this summer. Pray for the Greenhouse Internship, that the Lord would raise up future missionaries. Pray for the Lord to pour out his Spirit on Ukraine, celebrating 30 years of independence.

Jeremiah Davis reports that his work with CO Zambia the last two months has been exhilarating. While Covid is on the rise, the Lord is still at work. Jeremiah celebrates the Lord drawing him near and encouraging him. Pray for the new President of Zambia and his administration. Pray that the Lord would keep the students and staff connected and communicating well. Pray that the Lord would move among the college students, as well as Jeremiah’s team, causing them to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Ask the Lord to pour out his Spirit on the campuses and for a movement of prayer for the nation of Zambia.

Virginia asks prayer for her E. Asia country that has changed dramatically with growing government oppression: deaths from flooding after officials opened a dam, people forced to get an ineffective vaccine, banning of tutoring and private schools, removal of English from elementary schools, restriction of travel, control of private bank accounts, etc. Pray for the Lord to bring salvation to leaders and use the oppression to grow the church. Pray for protection for Virginia from government intervention and for her books to arrive from the U.S. Pray for stable internet, and for her mother’s care as she is failing physically as well as mentally.

Allison Neubert reports from S. Africa where she has been for almost a year now. She praises God for his faithfulness and that the ministry of CO in S. Africa is growing. She has seen substantial progress in their NPC formation, increased organizational funding, and the staff feels more confident in their structures and policies. Ask the Lord to raise up laborers for the campus and the lost world. Pray for good connections with students, the discipleship group meetings, evangelistic Bible studies, and community forming events. Praise God for bringing healing to Allison’s body, mind, and heart!

Nick and Amanda left Beirut to spend 3 months in the U.S. and now find themselves here through the end of the year. Conditions in Beirut have deteriorated to the extent that they have been advised not to return yet. Pray that the Lord would use this time to encourage them through family and supporting churches and enable them to help future teammates prepare for departure. Pray that the Lord would intervene for the people of Beirut to provide a stable government, and all their basic needs. Pray for Nick and Amanda’s hearts as they grieve for their friends left behind.

Nicole is excited to have been able to travel with her father to Uzbekistan for two weeks of ministry. Praise they were able to train 20 local leaders on how to make disciples and had the opportunity to baptize one of the new believers there!  This group began sharing the good news, and one has already seen 3 conversions. They then went to Tajikistan and spent time with 18 leaders for mutual encouragement and to see God at work. Pray that God will continue to multiply the work in these two countries, especially among the high schoolers that Nicole worked with. Pray that the Lord will draw her near and work through her each day.

Continue to pray for Dean and Kyria as they are in the U.S. on medical leave. Praise that he has seen 2 orthopedics about his Achille’s tendon, and neither see surgery as a good option. Pray as he begins 12 weeks of physical therapy, after which they will reevaluate. While they are relieved to not be pursuing surgery, it makes the timing of their return to Central Asia more uncertain. Pray that the Lord will heal Dean and encourage them both, granting them patience and grace as they wait. Ask the Lord to provide laborers for their closed country and to pour out his Spirit on them, their future teammates, and their country of service.

Pray for David and Aliece in East Asia as they faithfully serve the persecuted church. Ask the Lord to bless David as he teaches and preaches and pray for his work with church networks as they continue to adjust to government oppression. Ask God to use David to build Reformed Theology in the churches and seminaries of this closed country. Pray for Aliece and the child she is carrying. Praise God that she has been able to teach, counsel, and perform administrative tasks for her Counseling Ministry in addition to caring for the family. Pray that the month Norm and Ruth Ann spent in the U.S. visiting their adult children and meeting with Norm’s ministry director blessed, refreshed, and encouraged them. Pray that the Lord would move powerfully in Nathan and Elizabeth’s hearts. Pray that the Lord would continue to use and grow their media outreach to touch the lives of those in the Arab world. Praise God for the salvation of 158 former Muslims this year alone through their media ministry!  Pray that the Holy Spirit would direct their planning for 2022 ministry.

Pray for Guille and Debbie in Buenos Aires. As the new semester begins, pray for the Lord to give them great faith as they make their plans. Pray for their seminary class, “The Church in a New Normal”, and ask the Lord to use this to expand their vision of church planting throughout the Hispanic world. Pray for Iglesia Nuevo Avivamiento as they continue to deal with the effects of Covid. Ask the Lord to bless Guille as he pursues his Ph.D in Biblical Studies at Lancaster Bible College.  Ask the Lord to pour out His blessings on their family and provide for their every need.
